I am rejecting this response because:I was not notified of the routine inspectionAnd if I was, then there would be no valid reason for my complaints and/or concernsI am mortified to be alone in my apartment due to this incidentA man that I have never met entered my apartment not only without my knowledge, but as I was sleepingI am requesting a month to month lease due to the fact that I am unable to feel safe and feel violated in my own homeI am also very unhappy and feel intimidated by the way the office manager of the property handled this matterI received a very nasty, unprofessional three minute voicemail after the Revdex.com sent my complaintThe manager stated that I was wrong and that she "herself" left notification that she would be entering my apartmentAs I stated before, I did not receive any notification that they were doing any kind of inspectionI only received a letter on my dining room table stating that they entered my apartment this dayI do not think that I am asking for anything ridiculous in return for a violation of privacyOnly simply asking for a month to month lease so that I can find a new home where I am feel safe

We did not receive the first letter. Had I gotten that first letter I would have immediately responded. We sent her a dirty apartment letter because we thought that may have been attributing to the smell.
I have spoken to [redacted] many times and...

have had two vendors come out to address the smell. The smell comes and goes. We have given her November for free, I have offered her to move her out without paying the termination fee. We have flushed and did a camera service in every drain. We have offered to move her in another apartment in the complex for free and still cover her November rent free but she has not accepted this resolution. She demanded that we move her to a different apartment, give her two months free rent, and allow her to break her lease in December all free of charge which we will not give all of these requests to her. We have followed every bit of protocol that there is to get rid of the smell. The day she called I did not call her back immediately because I had to contact the vendor and look up the history of this unit. We have spent $1000 on this maintenance to camera all the vents in her apartment.
The night of October 23rd [redacted] reported the smell again because she had turned on her A/C unit which was not necessary. She has not taken any of offers at this point and we are trying to work with her.

Ms. [redacted] moved in December 5, 2016. We do inspections a minimum of 2 times a year. The inspection is done with the manager and the maintenance person. In this particular instance the spring inspection was posted as of April 7th and the inspections were to begin the week of April 10th. We do a...

schedule that runs out a week to 2 weeks on specified buildings. The resident's are informed of the time range to expect our visit. About a week before inspections were due on this building the neighbor downstairs indicated there were a bunch of squeaky floor boards and asked if we could go take care of it. The manager knew that the customer was a nurse and worked off hours and decided to wait until the inspection date to listen to the floor boards and decide what should be done. We have not addressed the floorboards yet. Nothing has been done to the floorboards. The manager and maintenance went into her apartment for preventive maintenance as posted on the notice to change the filters. The procedure before entering any unit is to knock and yell maintenance, unlock the door and yell maintenance again before entering. When the manager and maintenance realized the resident was home, indicated by seeing her purse, they changed the filter and left. There is also a notice left in the apartment, this is a standard. The notice informed the customer the reason for the visit. In this case it was the spring inspection and this was how the resident knew they had been there. The day after, the residents' mother came to the office to speak with the manager. The manager explained it all to her. She stated she understood and was just a protective mom. They left on good terms. We will not be changing the term of the lease. We are happy to accommodate if the resident would like to schedule future GENERAL maintenance visits for when she is home and awake. All she will need to do is come by the office to let us know.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:I was not notified of the routine inspection. And if I was, then there would be no valid reason for my complaints and/or concerns. I am mortified to be alone in my apartment due to this incident. A man that I have never met entered my apartment not only without my knowledge, but as I was sleeping. I am requesting a month to month lease due to the fact that I am unable to feel safe and feel violated in my own home. I am also very unhappy and feel intimidated by the way the office manager of the property handled this matter. I received a very nasty, unprofessional three minute voicemail after the Revdex.com sent my complaint. The manager stated that I was wrong and that she "herself" left notification that she would be entering my apartment. As I stated before, I did not receive any notification that they were doing any kind of inspection. I only received a letter on my dining room table stating that they entered my apartment this day. I do not think that I am asking for anything ridiculous in return for a violation of privacy. Only simply asking for a month to month lease so that I can find a new home where I am feel safe.
Sincerely,
[redacted]
