Deerfield Crossing at Sage Meadows

Deerfield Crossing treats its tenants horribly when it is time for them to move out. I rented from them for a year. The apartment was nice, I will say. However, certain things were not maintained like they should have been. There was a huge pothole in the complex that I had to drive over every single day. This should have been fixed. Also, there was a fence behind my townhouse. Some of the fence boards fell and were never repaired. I have a small dog and she got out a couple of times and went into the field behind the complex. Very unsafe seeing as there are deer and other wild life out there. Lastly, when I moved out, I was not given back a proper security deposit. The company claimed it took 20 hours to clean at a rate of $25/hr. This is after the land lord texted me telling me I had left the apartment in fantastic shape. There is no way it took them that long to clean my place. I called the owner and he was the rudest person I have ever encountered in my life. I sent them a certified letter in the mail asking for an answer but never got one. I do know, however, that they received it. This is an expensive place to live and the customer service was some of the worst I have ever encountered. I would never rent from them again. Ever.
