Deerfield Inn

My family used this motel on May 7,2015. Our daughter was completing for the Local festival title there on the night of May 7th. We did not stay the night at the motel but only used the room to get her ready and for the family to be able to change clothes there. I checked us in and we checked out 5 hours later. I noticed on the following day that our account had been charged twice for the amount of the room ($45.88) I immediately called the motel back and the gentlemen whom was there when his wife had checked me in said yes the owner had accidently ran the tickets twice which resulted in me being charged twice. I ask if I brought my card back in that night if he could credit it back and he said yes. Once my daughter and I got back to the motel that afternoon the story had changed and he said that the owner had already credited the account back and that it could take 10days for the money to be back in my account. I waited the 10 days and contacted my bank and they informed me that it had not been credited back. I contacted the motel again and spoke with the same gentleman. He said he would contact the owner and speak with him I ask if I could have his contact information and he said no. I still have not heard from the "owner" and I have called 3 more times and ask to please be credited my money back from the double charge and I get the same reply each time (that he will have the owner call me back) and its always the same man whom doesn't want to give me his name.Desired SettlementI am asking to be credited the $45.88 back from my debit card being ran twice. I am willing and able to prove that the charge was not credited back. I consider this fraud since my debit card was charged twice without my consent.
