Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response...
because:The tow truck driver is completely responsible and the towing company,The car was NOT disable for a broken control arm is was disable for an Alterator that had gone bad. I have 4 witness that saw the tow truck driver hook up the vehicle wrong with the J hook when towing the vehiche up the ramp of the tow truck and snap the lower control arm. Why am I responsible for there negligence?Regards,[redacted]
my motorcycle had a mechanical problem that left me by the side of the road on I-78 west just before the exit to rt. 24. I called my insurance company to request the roadside assistance my policy entitles me to. though sunday is a big day for motorcyclists to ride, no Bike shop was open or available to pick up a stranded rider. my insurance company tried DeFalco's who promised a truck would be there in a half hour. the wait time was more like 15 minutes. the driver Eric was great at loading a motorcycle on a flatbed and strapping it securely. he drove me right to my garage about 15 miles away and unloaded the bike safely with no problems.
Our driver towed the car in question at the date mentioned in the complaint. After speaking with the driver and reviewing the facts we feel that we did not cause this damage and there for are not going to be responsible for it.
Review: On December 19 2014 DeFalco's towing company towed a 2002 Chevy Blazer for me on [redacted] in [redacted].
The vehicle was broken down for a alternator that had gone bad and was disabled on the highway. The car was towed to a local garage. The problem occured when Defalco's towed the vehicle , They inproperly hooked the towing J hook incorrectly and snapped the lower control arm causing 600.00 in damage. I have tried to reach out to the owner [redacted] at Defalco's and he will not return my calls or acknowledge any damage made by his tow truck driver and his company.
My mechanic that fixed the lower control arm said the only way this could of happen is by improperly hooking up the vehicle. This company is not professional, He ignores you leaves you on hold when you call and will NOT acknowledge any mistakes on his part. A simple tow cost me and extra 600.00 for the broken control arm.Desired Settlement: I want compensated for the extra 600.00 that was not nesscery for me to pay. Again I get no response from the owner what so ever... Please let me know if you can help.
Thank you

Review: My car was towed under [redacted] to Defalco's Automotive and Towing which is the same company my boyfriend works for. They let my car sit in the yard for almost TWO weeks without any repair work done. When I called Defalco's about my car the nasty service manager Joe told me they would not work on my car because they had a disagreement over my boyfriend's work availability. I then asked to speak to Billy Jr, the manager and he told me they would not work on it and it had to be towed out of their yard again because of my boyfriend's work availability. I am a paying customer and I thought they would be professionals about fixing my car, irregardless of my boyfriend's work availability which does not even pertain to the matter of having my car fixed. I am extremely dissatisfied with the way I was treated, no one should be spoken to like that and I am shocked by the way everything was handle by a "professional" company like Defalco's Automotive and Towing.Desired Settlement: I would like to have my car fixed so this can be settled

We have an employee that works for a company named [redacted]. The owner of the car is question belongs to [redacted] asked to bring his girlfriends car in to our repair shop on the evening of 1/20/2015, our manager Adam R[redacted] instructed him not to do so that we were not interested in having the car at our shop due to past dealings with him and repair of his vechicles, he never has any money to pay for the repairs and everything turns out to be a problem. He disobeyed our wishes and had [redacted] tow his car in after hours. During the past 9 days he has been asking Myself(billy r[redacted]), my service manager(joe g[redacted], and Adam what was the status of his car. Everytime he asked the status of his car he was informed that we were not interested in repairing his car and it should be brought else where. Yesterday 1/29/2015 we recieved a phone call from a very irrate [redacted], she was informed of the same information that was conveyed to her boyfriend for the past 9 days. She was informed that there were two other repair shops on our block that we would be happy to bring her car to at no charge. She informed me that she HAD HER OWN MECHANIC([redacted]) and would be calling [redacted] to have the car towed out. Also [redacted] had advised us yesterday that he would be removing the car as well. As you can see by her filing a complaint we are not dealing with rational people and request she remove her car from out lot.
I was rear-ended on W78 last October and suffered extensive damage to my new Subaru Crosstrex Hybrid. DeFalco towed me, and at the time, seemed very supportive and cooperative. However, after over a month in the shop I finally took the car back to have the job finished by my local Subaru dealer. In the meanwhile I was donned by a car rental co (associated with DeFalco) for an extraordinary high fee, after being reassured by DeFalco that I wouldn't be billed at all. I have not paid the rental co and now, a year later, part of the repair has failed and I've had to pay out of pocket to fix it. During some of the troubles during the year, Adam at DeFalco, never returned my calls or emails and refused to talk to and coordinate with my Subaru dealer.
Review: On May 7, 2015 DeFalco's towed my car from Route 78 West by exit 40 to my home -
[redacted], NJ 08807
DeFalco's is a [redacted] Towing Company
I asked the drive to drop my car off at [redacted] - an [redacted] approved repair shop but the driver refused. He would only bring the car to my home. When we got to my home the driver informed us that we had to pay him $210 for the tow - he would not honor our [redacted] He said that we had to pay him and he would give us the receipt and [redacted] would reimburse us 100% for the tow. (they said the police called for the tow - and that is why we had to pay him and then get reimbursed)
If we didn't pay him he would tow the car to his shop in [redacted]. So we had no choice but to pay him.
The next day we called [redacted] and again they sent out DeFalco's again to now tow the truck from our house to the [redacted] dealer (where we wanted them to tow it the night before). DeFalco's now got paid twice to move the same car. No wonder they didn't want to bring it to [redacted] the night before.
We submitted the bill and were only reimbursed $127 - the contracted rate [redacted] has with DeFalco's. When I called DeFlaco's and spoke with [redacted] - he said they would not credit us the $83 difference. They have a contracted rate with [redacted] we are a [redacted] member - their driver said we would get reimbursed 100%. I called [redacted] and they told me that it was up to DeFlaco's to correct the charge.Desired Settlement: Credit of $83 to my credit card

On May 7, 2015 the [redacted] called us out to tow a disabled vehicle on route 78. It was an [redacted] owned by [redacted]. The owner was given rates to have her car towed to her house in Bridgewater, NJ. She agreed to the rates and the driver towed her car to her house. The owner gave the driver a little bit of a hard time and that is when he advised her that if payment was not made the car would be brought back to our shop. That is also why the car was not brought to the dealer because the owner would have to be there to pay for the tow. The owner paid for the tow - $210.00. Signed the receipt and the driver moved on. She was charged our contracted rates for towing with the [redacted] Attached are both our rate sheet and her signed receipt. As for what happened with [redacted] and the owner has absolulty nothing to do with us. She has an agreement with her [redacted] membership and not with us. We made no guarantee as to what [redacted] will cover or will not cover. This matter is between [redacted] and the owner. We performed the service we were called to do. The owner has also verbally threatened to dispute her credit card charges as well as filed the same complaint with business consumer alliance. This is becoming border line harassment on the owner's part.
