Baker Automotive sold [redacted] a Dodge Ram Quad Cab on March 16, He had test driven the truck prior to thatPrior to purchase we offer all of our customers the option of having the vehicles checked out by their own independent mechanicWe encourage them to have it inspectedWe sell all of our vehicles "AS-IS"Because we sell our cars this way we do not offer any extended warrantyThis is also explained to the customer when they sign the paperwork and have the vehicle delivered to themMr [redacted] signed his paperwork and I have enclosed a copy of itAccording to our salesman, Ryan [redacted] , Mr [redacted] was satisfied both when he purchased the vehicle on March and later when he picked up his title work from our locationIt was not until closer to a month later that Mr [redacted] came in complaining that the vehicle was leaking transmission fluid and the overdrive was going out and he wanted to know what we were going to do about itRyan told him that it had never leaked any fluid while it was on the lotHe then looked under the truck and saw mud, transmission fluid and sticks everywhereRyan suggested that Mr [redacted] put some transmission fluid into the vehicle or it would get worseMr [redacted] told him he was not going to put any fluid in it and he would just wait until it all went outHe then got mad and took off out of Baker Automotive squealing his tires.Mr [redacted] was satisfied with his vehicle purchase when he drove away as well as when he picked up his titleThe Dodge Ram has a book value of $today and he purchased it for $Baker Automotive has fulfilled its responsibilitiesThank you [redacted] ***
