TRYING FOR MONTHS TO GET MY VISA $100 PROMO CARD. DEFENDER DIRECT IS THE WORST AND TOLD ME THE PAPERWORK IS IN THE MAIL! NOT HERE? CAN'T FIND THEM!

Shady horrible company. Not only does it have the worst customer service when you're trying to reach someone for help or clarifications on some things but the gentleman that was sent to our home from ADT was a used car salesman. We called ADT to transfer service from one house to our new house this gentleman showed up made us sign a new 2-year contract making us believe that it would just start over from that date with ADT come to find out he made us sign a new 2-year contract counseling the one at our old house there for resulting in a $700 early termination fee when we thought we were transferring services from one home to the new home. Trying to deal with these people is extremely frustrating I cannot believe the level of ignorance when you call to try to speak to customer service. One lady was so rude I use the word ghetto attitude and hung up on me. When I called back I spoke to a gentleman who seemed to be in his eighties and didn't understand anything I was saying. Still to this day nothing has been resolved. Very misleading company do not use them at all stay away from them using fraud to get people to sign contracts

Review: I wanted [redacted] security for my home. My wife comes home for lunch I fear for her safety. The very first day the wind set off the alarm. The police came and my wife left work to meet them at our home.I called Defender it took a month before a tech could come out and resolve the issue. When installed I told the tech the way I leave out of the attached garage. He installed a detector on the overhead door. Using the keypad I had to activate the alarm open overhead door pull out and close door before 30 seconds, doesn't work for me. they came back out took the sensor off the overhead door and put in a motion detector and charged me more money. The tech that showed up told me he was a supervisor. He had just returned from South America and he did not want to be here. He took the other sensor I paid for. The motion detector didn't work if you stayed to the left of the inside garage. So my house was still unprotected. Called [redacted] talked to them they informed me the tech should have installed a sensor on the door going from garage into the house. This should have been installed on the first visit. [redacted] called Defender Direct on my behalf while I was on hold with [redacted]. The [redacted] operator came back on the line and told me they where very rude to her but agreed to install the sensor going from garage to the home. [redacted] operator told me they had many complaints against Defender Direct and there contract with [redacted] probably would not be renewed. I called them several times wanting to cancel the contract. I was put on hold for long periods of time transferred to many different people, told a rep would call me back. Never did they call . This happened twice. I was always polite to them and they hung up on me twice , said it was a computer glitch. In February our fire alarm went off at 11:45 pm fire department came out. there was no fire. Called them again want out of contract they told me it would cost me 1,110.57 dollars. The system may have been activated 10 times tops. We don't useDesired Settlement: I want out of the contract with no charge. They can have all the equipment back. I will repair all holes in my walls and ceiling . service installed on 10-9-2015 paid every month on time still not satisfied.
