It was confirmation # [redacted] to a Sharon LevyDuring this same conversation I spoke with John [redacted] who approved a certain credit amount towards equipment and scheduled my installation.Upon Installation, ADT's service guy came to house and quickly went through equipment and house and proceeded to tell me what I neededWhen asked where I wanted keypad I told him in kitchen preferably by garage doorThere are no land phone lines to which he told me thats no problem, he could install me a wirelessWhen I questioned pricing he told me he would work up all of the equipment and deduct the Credit I was given for signing upHe stated I could add any amount of equipment I wanted and all I would have to pay was for the equipmentI stated that I definitely wanted a camera because of vandalism done to my pick up in the drive way, the same thing I stated on my initial call to Sharon LevyNo Problem I was told by both of themI was never informed of additional monthly fees depending on what equipment I recieved, otherwise I would have NEVER agreed, nor did I want a security system without a camera in my driveway.The service guy left me with a folder/pamphlet with a list of equipment and a users manual on the self contained wireless system and a 4-card tear off sheets for referralsI do not have a copy of my contract, stickers for windows, signs for the yardAnd upon returning home from my appointments (I had to leave because of scheduling which I told Sharon Levy and this guy who came to install) I did not have everything I was promised and the installation was far from acceptable or professionalAnd never received a $gift card for signing upI have not been able to access my Pulse from my phone, the password they gave me does not workI have repeatedly explained this to several people several times and been hung up on and placed on hold indefinitely ( one time I remained on phone minutes.)I am not satisfied with any of the broken promises or unsatisfied contract conditionsI have been talked to rudely and told that I would be turned into credit bureau if I stop paymentI told ADT on several occasions they are just dragging their feet until months is up and guess whatmonths is up.I would rather not continue service with this company and receive my money back, and come get your equipment out of my houseI am far from a satisfied or happy customer and cannot believe a company would want to force an unhappy customer to continue paying themI did not get what I thought and was told I was getting, $a month service, the missing items promised me, my camera installed correctly, my pulse account activated so I could have actually monitor my home as promised, signs, stickers, my copy of this signed contract which I never received Regards, [redacted]

November 30, 2015Revdex.com of Central IndianaN Delaware St#2020Indianapolis, IN 46204-2599Defenders INCDBA Protect Your HomeDBA Protect Your Home Priority Way South DriveIndianapolis, IN 46240Re: [redacted] ***Complaint # [redacted] Account # 4262524Dear Ms [redacted] ,This letter is in response to the Complaint # [redacted] By way of background, Defenders INC DBA Protect Your Home is an Indiana Corporation that specializes in selling residential alarm systems We have been an ADT authorized dealer since that sells and installs ADT monitored security systemsOnce the security system is installed, the contract is then purchased, billed, serviced and maintained by ADT.Summation of Complaint:Owner of complaint does not “agree” with the length of contract, alleges “fraudulent” representation, and barred “w/threat” from cancellation.Acknowledgement of Resolution:In regards to Complaint # [redacted] , we have carefully reviewed the matter and bring forth the following recommendations Owner of complaint under “express consent,” voluntarily provided contract signatureTheir voluntary actions bind them to a “financial” duty relative to length of contractOwner of complaint was provided access to the terms and conditions of the month contract Failing to comply within contract’s three day opt-out period, contract holds as irrevocable (w/limited relief) and enforceableClient brings forth a “reasonableness/ fairness” argument in regards to the terms and conditions of the contractThis is an unfounded claim, as client was given privy to the terms and conditions (during initial sales call/post install) of the contractClient was installed on 10/09, and review of notes show that client did not threaten to cancel until 10/Therefore, an “after-the-fact” argument is dismissibleClient alleges “fraudulent” misrepresentation, however, this claim is disputed in that, we acknowledge ourselves via verbal communication and all forms of advertisement as an “authorized” ADT dealerClient was not misled in regards to our corporate affiliation with ADTClient admits to having a law degree, therefore, maintains the understanding in which a breach of contract, equates ramifications of financial penaltyIn re of this matter, client has been informed of the 75% BOC, if they proceed with cancellationPer client’s request, an invoice (reflecting BOC) was forwarded to client’s email address on fileOur notes reflect that on 11/11, (2) $Visa gift cards were shipped to clientClient should patiently allow up to business days for receiptClient has been professionally informed of matters of contract and consequences of premature cancellation, however, “alleged” threats cannot be confirmedADT is solely responsible for client’s billing and any questions pertaining to billing, client should direct to ADT corporateMatters such as service and trouble-shooting, our office (DEFENDERS) would manageClient has failed to provide substantial evidence of “deceptive” practice and without documented claim, our office is in no position to address the matter further.We apologize for any inconvenience this matter has contributedRegards,Customer Loyalty Representative Protect Your Home ADT Authorized Premier Provider
