Terrible company to do business with I hope this review keeps others from having to deal with the frustration and HUGE financial loss we've had to endure because of DefiNet Contact
I hope the owner of the company understands that I am still incredibly upset with the way we were treated, ignored, and provided with outrageously poor service and a faulty, sub-par website
The list of services we were told would be provided from the steep amount of money we paid them each month weren't Not even close And I hope those looking into this company do some serious research before signing with them Run quickly in the other direction!
We signed with them January 1st of From the git was a long, drawn out build of our website - which is nothing unique, it's simply a Wordpress site - with typos, glitches, poor design, bad grammar and ignored requests After months, it was finally up With lots of errors still to be found Bad links, blank pages, misplaced pictures, MORE typos
I quickly got into the habit of checking and re-checking their work I tried to get a hold of our project manager by email, phone and eventually had to pretend to be a new lead to get a response, to get these never-ending problems fixed
Things didn't get any better from thereFor DAYS, our website would be down After two and a half months of this nonsense, the middle of March we expressed our displeasure and frustration and requested an in-person meeting We finally contacted our sales person, hoping for a response, and he set up a meeting for us with our absentee project manager
We talked, we were assured things would get better, we didn't get a whole lot of answers, especially as to why our SEO report was "not found" for EVERY SINGLE item on our report, and we left just as frustrated as when we'd arrived
After our first disgruntled meeting I had to, personally, fix our Yelp and Google listings (which they were also supposed to handle) Again, error after error, unanswered after unanswered emails and phone calls and our website being down for an entire WEEK, we finally had enough We set up a meeting with the owner
He gave a lot of very politician type answers, assured us our business was "valued" etc blah etc They set us up with a new out-of-state project manager Things went alright until I started checking on things again
None of our updates were being done on our website correctly, it was responding incredibly slow, the list goes on - and the final straw was seeing that - paying each month for TWO (very poorly written, uninformative and useless) blog posts - for two months in a row, we had only had ONE posted
The beginning of July was the end of our relationship with them It took weeks just to get the website backup
I sincerely hope they get their act together For their customers' sake and their own
