On November 24, Ms*** contacted our office and spoke with Mr*** regarding a past due T-Mobile accountThe details of the account were discussed and Ms*** did confirm that she was aware of this delinquent accountShe stated to Mr*** that she did want to settle on this account so, she proceeded to set up payments of $each for December 23, and January 22, and provided debit card information to Mr*** so, that her payments would be automatically withdrawn on the dates providedShe defaulted on both payments and after many attempts to reach out to her, Mr*** has not been able to make contactHad Ms*** contacted our office Mr*** would have been able to explain the procedures regarding the purchase of the debt and why T-Mobile no longer had the account

was contacted by Definitive Consulting on September 27, regarding a past due debt that was associated with VerizonAfter speaking with *** ***, a representative in our office, Ms*** informed Mr*** that she would repay the debt if it was hers and requested documentationMs*** was sent out an Assignment of debt stating that Definitive Consulting did indeed own the rights to collect on this debtWe also provided Ms*** with the original account number and phone number on the Verizon account Ms *** was provided two pay off option, a payment plan on the debt owed at $The $she is referring to was a one time payment option he was also given to resolve the debt if he chose to pay it all off at one time she would be able to save on some of the interest and penaltiesHence the different dollar amountsThe phone number in question *** was a landline phone, in her name at her and is a accurately reflected in her credit historyArea code is indeed in the Buffalo NY areaAll information is true and correct

I am rejecting this response because:Their response is a total fabricationI NEVER made arrangements with themI asked for supporting documentation from original creditor VerizonEach collector refused to acknowledged they were collectors or that this company was a collection agencyAGAIN, I NEVER agreed to anythingOne person, I believe it was the second person I spoke with, told me that they buy debt and insisted I owed irWithout any supporting documentsI could go on & on about their behavior and disrespectful waysBut the main issue is>>> they informed me that they could "hold off" process servers if I would make arrangements, said suit was already being filed, and then sent me a notice which (if not knowledgeable of the legal system_ appeared to be a Summons and Complaint with a signature line to settle the debtThese are unfair debt practices ( threats, innuendos which they did not follow up on) and illegal.This company also refused to supply the lawyers who are "suing" me as well as refused to tell me if they are licensed in New York to do businessAlso, if this debt did occur when they say it did, then the statute of limitations is in play

representative in our office on May 20, 2017  and understood and acknowledged that she was liable for this debt. Ms. [redacted] set up and provided payment information to our office and received documents stipulating that she would fulfil her obligation in regards to her account.  Her payments declined and when we  made attempts to reach out to her regarding the declined payment she hung up on her representative. She has not been contacted since June 15, 2017.

I do not accept the validity of any debt supposedly held by this firm. I have no intention of paying them, entering into a payment arrangement or accepting any offer from this firm. I do not...

owe them any money. The mention of the firm's "investigation department" is meaningless except to use a vaguely threatening-sounding word in their response. I am not impressed.Please have this firm confirm their receipt of my refusal to pay them any money for any purpose, ever. I will consider the matter resolved when I receive such confirmation.

After speaking with Ms. [redacted], a representative in our office, it was established that Ms. [redacted] was liable for this particular file. Ms. [redacted] did confirm the details of the file with Ms. [redacted] at which time Ms. [redacted] became irate and to no longer contact her. We have had no further contact with her.

She spoke with a representative in our office on July 27, 2017 and explained to that representative that she had filed for bankruptcy. Ms. [redacted]...

verified that information and the account was closed. We have not made any further contact with Ms. [redacted] since that day until she reached out and spoke with Ms. [redacted] and stated that she was not the correct individual we were looking to contact. No further contact will be made with this individual.
