We repaired the damage done by the loose lug nut The car was never on a tow truck We walked down the street, tightened the wheel, asked Ms [redacted] to bring the car back MondayShe dropped it off on Sunday while we were closed Monday we replaced all studs on the wheel The car was not vandalized She was told about the leaking radiator when the alternator was replaced but didn't want it fixed [redacted] from [redacted] called us late February saying they investigated the car and found it to be fine His number is [redacted]

Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 12, 2015/05/27) */ When the Chevy Impala first came to the shop it was overheatingWe did a flow text on the radiator and found it was severely cloggedHe also indicated that the heat was not getting as hot as it should so we checked the heater core and found it was also cloggedWe called him and told him it would be $to replace the radiator and heater coreWe told him at this time that there may be a chance that since the car was driven hot a few times it may have a head gasket issueHe agreed and gave us the ok to do the workWe proceeded and replaced both the radiator and heater coreAfter the work was done we still had an over heating issue but did not overheat at idle anymore just while drivingWe did a pressure check on each cylinder and found that cylinder and were bleeding into each otherWe called the customer back and told him that the engine had a blown head gasketWe told him it would be $to replace the motorHe agreed to replacing the motor and told us that he would not be able to pay for the work for a monthI said that would be ok as long as he gave me a date that he would pick it up but if he went past that day there would be a storage fee of $40/day there afterWe put the motor in and drove it around to make sure that everything was good and it wasFor the first week we put it in the shop at night and took it out during the dayWe made room for it on the other side of the shop and that is where it stay till the day the customer picked it upWhen I got the call he was going to pick it up I had one of my mechanics to get it out and take a drive to charge the battery up since it was dead for sitting so long and to check to see if everything was good that we had worked onWhile he was test driving, the customer had came by to pick it up and had to wait a little for the mechanic to returnWhen the vehicle returned and customer had paid he had noticed that it was a little dirty from us moving it in and out of the shop and inclement weather conditionsWe cleaned it up the best we could with the tools we hadA few days later he came back and said it was not clean enough so we detailed the car while he watched and pointed out what he wanted cleanedWe gave him a $discount off the original price of the workIf he has an issue with the authenticity of our work the best thing for him to do would be to go to GM, state trooper or anywhere they can check the VIN# on the motor to prove it is a different motorHe can then bring the statement to us to show that it came from a different vehicle
