providing our property owners with the information needed to insure they are selecting the best possible applicant for their investmentThe number one complaint we heard from applicants prior to the implementation of this system, was that our vetting process was too time consumingWe now proudly advertise that our system provides a quick responseWe provided *** *** with the service exactly as advertised to include a quick decision.As an applicant, ** *** had prior knowledge of the information that would be assessed and verified during our screening process, and is clearly explained on our websiteApplicants also have knowledge of their own credit, criminal and rental history which should help them decide whether it will be in their best interest to spend the $application feeDeHanas Property Management does not have advanced knowledge of an applicant’s chance for approval and does not “prey on hopeful applicants.”
There is, of course, a cost to utilize this kind of technology, and a portion of it is passed along to the applicantOf the $per person application fee, DeHanas Property Management is charged $per credit report, $per criminal background check and $per rental history/eviction report through *** and ***The remaining funds go towards the additional fees charged to us by the software/website provider for hosting services, etcAs you can see from the expense involved, the processing of an application is not a source of income to our company, and in many cases, can be an expense.We are empathetic to any applicant who submits an application that results in a denial, however, DeHanas Property Management does not utilize or promote any verbiage or advertising claims stating the chances for an approval, and certainly does not “prey on the hopeful”.Thank you,Staci M
