The company owes me a refund for $402.91. I have contacted them repeatedly and no refund has been issued.I moved from [redacted] to [redacted] state using Dehaven's Transfer & Storage in June. I discovered that they had over-charged me by $390.91. I contacted them regarding this issue and they sent me a check for the requested amount. That check could not be processed because of insufficient funds in the Dehaven's bank account. My bank charged me $12.00 for the bounced check fee. I have contacted Dehaven's repeatedly to request another check and have been told on multiple occasions that I will receive a check for $402.91 (the amount I was originally owed plus the fee for the bounced check). Despite repeated assurances that my check is on its way, no reimbursement has ever arrived. I have made more than 10 calls to Dehaven's about this issue during the past month and, each time, have been reassured that the check has already been sent or will be sent soon. At 11:30am EST today (9/20/16), Mr. [redacted] told me that my check would be mailed today and that I would receive an email confirmation with a scanned image of the check by the end of the day. No confirmation message has arrived. Desired SettlementReimbursement in the amount of $402.91.

Failure to provide service as promised. Overcharged customer and failure to provide updated bill or inventory list. Business billed customer for greater than 2000lbs of freight weight than actual weight. Despite pointing out mistake no updated bill received. Business failed to provide complete inventory list, inventory missing since packers did not finish the job and movers had to help out the day of moving to facilitate move. Packers were ordered to leave early without finishing the job and only returned after multiple phone calls. Numerous phone calls to business with inadequate response about problems throughout moving process. Pre-arranged contract terms not honored, services billed that have not been rendered yet despite agreeing to them upfront. Sub-industry standard handling of furniture. Proper packing material was not provided. Business will not confirm if washer was drained, no bolts brought for transportation although this was requested upfront. Throughout the process slow to no response from service agent after job was secured. Customer was promised two months of free storage, no confirmation provided despite written request to business. Desired SettlementAdequate response to complain by business. Honoring services as requested. Adjustment of bill.
