Deja Vu Tattoo and Piercing

I paid in full for a tattoo, weeks in advance. The Tattoo artist, [redacted] did half of the work and then scheduled two appointments to finish the job. At the first appointment he sent me home and told me that he would rather do it on a Sunday morning at 11am. I showed up for that appointment and the tattoo shop wasn't open and when I talked to the rest of the staff, they told me that he didn't work Sundays. I told them I wanted my money back for the tattoo I was supposed to get that day. They said they would call me back later that day. They have not contacted me back and have not given me my money back. I also tried to contact the other Deja Vu Tattoo shop in Winston Salem, which I believe is the home office for that company. They have also not contacted me back. I have more detailed documentation that I kept up with as this was happening but it is too large to fit in this script box. The owner of the company "Deja Vu Tattoos" did contact me last night out of the blue and apologized for the bad experience with them and has agreed to give me a partial refund. I'm satisfied with that. I'll never go there again, of course, but at least I am getting some of my money back. Thanks again, but the issue has been resolved.

Paid $500 for a tattoo session and did not receive tattoo or refund. I have contacted the business multiple times and do not get any answers. I paid $500 for a tapout session at the Déjà Vu that was located in Jacksonville NC. Every time I tried to make an appointment with the artist he was busy or something came up. The store closed and I have been trying to contact someone about getting my money back. I leave messages and never get a call back. This has been about a year of phone calls and trying to get this rectified. I have a receipt that shows I paid the studio, not the tattoo artist.Desired SettlementI would like mg money back since services were not received.
