I am rejecting this response because:Kishwaukee Health systems is still keeping the lab and radiology departments at Kishwaukee Physicians Group (previously DeKalb Clinic) as part of the hospital even though the patient never sets foot in the hospital. Because of this all lab and radiology work done AT Kishwaukee Physicians Group is considered an "outpatient hospital" visit NOT "office visit co-pay" and has to be applied toward your outpatient deductible not office visit. This is very deceiving to the patients who were used to getting labs and radiology work done at the clinic (now Kishwaukee Physicians Group) and it being considered an office visit. If the patient isn't going to the hospital it shouldn't be billed as a hospital service. I know that they are probably legally able to do this but I do not think it is promoting good patient care because patients who once had their routine and folllabs paid for will now have to pay and may decide not to have them doneIn our case we will have our lab work done at Quest Diagnostics to avoid this messIn response to my complaint they did say the President of the hospital is aware of the issue and will discuss with the Board of Directors
