I have reviewed the response from Mr*** and further reviewed the notes from his file I wanted to clarify that Champion Restoration is not trying to be dishonest, but in all fairness, there were several revisions to the original scope of work before Mr*** finally agreed to a final scope I reviewed the subcontractors invoices and they do not show any charges to Champion for "detach and reset toilet" The following outlines the monetary compensation from Champion Restoration to Mr***.Mr*** sent an email to Scott M***, on Friday, December 11th, stating the following:Work carried out by Champion per Mr***:BATHROOM ONLY: NEW BASEBOARDS $SEAL/PAINT BASEBOARDS $SEAL/PAINT FULL HEIGHT CABINETRY, FACES ONLY $SEAL AND PAINT LOWER CABINETRY, FACES ONLY $1/2" DRYWALL - HUNG, TAPED, FLOATED AND READY FOR PAINT $PAINT DRYWALL $SUBTOTAL: $Champion charges carpentry minimum $Champion charges drywall minimum $10% overhead and 10% profit $FINAL TOTAL: $1053.25Mr*** paid Champion -$1160.93Payment overage ($107.68)Detach and reset toilet credit ($235.69)Although I do not see any records that show Champion performed "detach and reset toilet" nor does Mr. *** acknowledge that as part of the "work carried out by Champion" above, nonetheless, Champion will creditthat to Mr*** TOTAL CREDIT DUE MR*** $343.37Please advise if Mr*** is in agreement and Champion Restoration will send Mr*** a final check for the above amount, via ** *** ***Thank you

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention.   I attached the final scope of work performed by Champion Restoration, July, 2015, and we did not "detach and reset" any toilet per Mr. [redacted] complaint.  The work performed, per the attached estimate is what was billed...

so Champion does not feel that we owe Mr. [redacted] for work not performed.  Champion has a great rating with the Revdex.com because we always do our best to respond quickly to any customer complaints.  It is unfortunate that Mr. [redacted] is not satisfied, and as an owner I do wish that were not the case, however, our records do not indicate malice on the part of Champion Restoration.  Thank you
