Review: I used the laundromat on June 8, 2015, as I have many times for the past 6 years. As a customer, I have never assumed that bleach would be left in the washers. On that day, I put in a brand new duvet cover, out of the package, into the washer, and before I could even close the door, the duvet cover was ruined with residual bleach, left in the drum. This washer did not rinse out the bleach, as it should have. I immediately asked to speak with the owner, and had a lot of struggle to get a phone number from the attendant. I sent a letter with my concerns regarding a faulty washing machine, which is not the same issue as damages induced by other causes. In my good faith, I went there, as I have in the past to wash clothes, and not have the item ruined. I never heard back from Mr. [redacted] Fee, regarding this case. It has been over 3 months and it seems odd that no professional courtesy letter would be sent on their behalf.Desired Settlement: I believe that the laundry has insurance for faulty washers. In this case, they should refund the cost of the new duvet, which I had sent receipts for showing its purchase date. Otherwise, replace the duvet cover from the original store,where it was ordered.
