with the repossession and the location of where the vehicle is being stored compared to where the consumer resides. We completely understand the inconvenience and hardship this may have caused the consumer and will follow all the necessary steps to address these concerns.
 
Fees: Del Mar was hired by the lien holder of this consumer’s vehicle to locate and secure the vehicle which is what transpired in this case. All cost associated with this service are agreed upon, contracted and in line with the types of services rendered between Del Mar and its client. Any disputes regarding fees should be discussed between the consumer and their lien holder. No extra fees or charges above normal course of business were associated with this service.
 
Storage Location: All vehicles are secured by contracted repossessions agents and stored at only approved repossession agent storage facilities. This vehicle was brought to the closest contracted storage location to where the consumer resides. There are no other locations contracted with this agency available that would be closer to the consumer. We are not able, according to policy, to relocate this vehicle to a closer non approved storage location nor are we able to transport consumer’s personal property effects.
 
All services are standard operating procedures that are contracted and performed regularly and in line with all state and federal regulations.  
 
If the consumer would like to open up a formal claim, all claims can be filed through the Del Mar Recovery Solutions Complaint Department. These claims are taken very seriously and will be reviewed with the upmost urgency to ensure the consumer concerns are addressed.
