I found a vehicle, worked out the numbers over the phone because I live farI asked for the mileage and whether it was newI was given the assurance that it is new and there are only miles on it only to get the surprise after going to the showroomI will be sending a copy of this to Mr.Del, Revdex.com, PA Consumer affairs and see if anybody takes any action

7/22/Dear Sirs, [redacted] s Toyota Maintenance Agreement was cancelled on 5/19/The funds usually take to days to be refunded to the dealerWe are issuing a check today /21/for dollarsAlso we are still waiting for the Maryland DMV to refund the overpayment for [redacted] s Maryland tags and registration for On good faith we are also sending [redacted] the that we will receive from the Maryland DMVWe apologize for these delays my Toyota Maintenance and Maryland DMV.Sincerely,George T***General Manager

On 10/21/the [redacted] family purchased a [redacted] *** with 93,miles on it This vehicle was offered with a limited engine, trans and rear 50/50, day mile dealer warranty as the manufacturer warranty was expired The vehicle is more than years old so we cannot offer them a Toyota extended service contract They agreed to purchase the car On 10/23/we were made aware of the check engine light coming on over the weekend We will be happy to honor the dealer warranty in our shop Or, we are offering a one time $"Goodwill" check that they can use to repair the car elsewhere

*** *** ***In regards to the motor we already explained that the check engine light turning on and the rattling noise that we heard from the engine happened about hours after we left the dealership. We purchased the *** *** on Sat10/21/and left the dealership at about 7:00pm and the next morning Sun10//22/at about 7:00am when we turned the vehicle on is when the check engine light turned and we heard the rattling noise from the engine that we did not hear the day before when we were at the dealership. As far as the damage done to the vehicle which caused the rattling to occur and that caused the check engine light to turn on we had only had the vehicle for hours. How is it possible that in only hours after leaving the dealership we caused those damages?O589006n Sun10/22/when we became aware of the rattling noise and the check engine light turned on we could not return the vehicle to the Del Toyota dealership because your dealership is closed on Sundays. My wife, *** called on Tue10/24/and spoke with Jimmie to make an appointment so that service department could take a look at the vehicle to provide us with an estimate of the repairs that would be needed and to provide a cost estimate as well. There are two documents attached to this response with invoice number*** in which the service department also acknowledges that the check engine light had turned on and gave an estimate of about $for the repairs so we thought that $good will check was a reasonable offer. But when we took the vehicle to *** *** on 12/7/they gave us the big surprise of what problems the vehicle actually had and the issues that the previous owner had experienced when they had recently taken the vehicle to also get an estimate of repairs for the rattling sound and the check engine light. The previous owner took the vehicle to *** *** some time in September or October of and they were given the same price for the repairs for the rattling sound and the check engine light turning on which is about $2,227.00, which are the same repairs that need to get done right now, so this is a problem that has existed with this vehicle from a lot of time before we even became the owners. This business does not know how to sell cars they promised people loans over the phone saying that you are approved not a preapproval then you get there and then they tell you that you're not approved after you took time out of your day to go make a deal For a vehicle to find out that you're not approved I was approved for a dollar amount they promised me I was going to drive out of there that day with a vehicle turns out I did not I would not buy from this company for the way they have treated me

Del Toyota agreed in good faith to give the [redacted] a $500 goodwill gesture because shortly after purchasing the 2004 [redacted] with 94,000 miles on it the [redacted] had another service facility recommend work be done to the vehicle that would have had a price of $1315.00. That estimate included an air conditioning clutch to fix a rattle noise as well as replacing a drive belt and its tensioner.Shortly after that agreement was made the check engine light came on the vehicle, while the [redacted] were driving, and they took it to [redacted] again. At this point [redacted] diagnosed the check engine light issue and stated that the charcoal canister needs to be replaced for $913.50. [redacted] informed the [redacted] of the history of the vehicle being serviced at [redacted] and the check engine light being an issue for the previous owner.Del Toyota did not experience the check engine light issue when inspecting the vehicle. If the check engine light was on it would not have passed a PA State Inspection. If the light was on, I would assume the [redacted] would have wanted an answer for that issue prior to purchasing. The [redacted] state that the engine light came on after the purchase. The [redacted] do not have a warranty that covers the recommended repairs. Even though this issue was known to others like the previous owner, Del Toyota was not aware of the issue, did not have the issue, and is not responsible for the issue. The gesture of goodwill of $500.00 that has already been agreed upon is the extent of Del Toyota’s offers.Thank you for reaching out to me for answers on this previously closed case,'also note: this was sold "as is" !Domenic S[redacted]Del Toyota

I spoke with Braided (Internet Sales Team) couple of days back and agreed on a price for a 2017 New Camry XLE V6 Blizzard Pearl. The plan was to stop by this morning and take care of the paper work and the delivery. Yesterday, Braided called me and confirmed my appointment. I told him I am travelling two hours to make this purchase because of the price, mileage and the color. I asked him if there is any catch. He said there is no catch. I asked him what the mileage is, he said, “it is a brand new car – it has 2 miles”.
This morning, I arrived at the dealership at 12:15. After driving for 2.5 hours (got stuck in a traffic accident on PA turnpike), I was exhausted but exited to be buying a new car. Braided came over gave me a cold handshake and said Jared will take care of my purchase of the Highlander. I was surprised – since Braided knows the numbers, I was under the impression that he was going to take care of the transaction. I promptly corrected him that it is not the Highlander I am there for, it is the Camry. He said, “yeah, yeah, the Camry. Jared will be your sales man” and he went away within 10 seconds. I said to myself, this is not a good sign.
Jared went to get the keys for the car and as we were walking towards the car, Jared said, “your 2004 Camry is very nice”. I was again surprised and this time I was upset. I stopped Jared and said to him, “I am not here for a 2004 Camry. I am here for a 2017 new Camry XLE V6. I have worked out all the details with Braided and it feels like I am starting this all over again”. He apologized and we came back to the showroom to get the “correct” keys to the “correct” car. I asked to speak with Braided. I was told he was on phone.
Meanwhile, Jared had me sit down and fill the form to start the inspection of my trade-in car. He then brought the keys to the “correct” Camry and what came from his mouth was shocking. He said, “YOU DO REALIZE THIS IS A DEMO CAR RIGHT? YOU DO REALIZE THIS HAS OVER 3000 MILE RIGHT?” I was speechless for couple of minutes. I told him, Braided said it had 2 miles and that it is a brand new car. I told Jared, “I have not done anything wrong to Braided or to you. Why are you guys doing this to me?” I told Braided yesterday that I will be driving for over 2 hours one way to make that purchase and specifically asked for the mileage. He lied to me by saying it had 2 miles, he did not disclose it was a demo car and on top of that when I went to the dealership, he just handed me over to another sales man and was not interested in processing the transaction. I asked to speak with Braided while I was there at least 5 to 6 times. Every time he was either on the phone or too busy and never came out to resolve the matter. Jared brought the manager I forgot his name. By this time I was so upset, I asked for my car keys and left the dealership.
I believe in God and I know God will hold Braided accountable for what he did to me – it is just the matter of time. I hope Mr.Del knows the kind of dealership he is running and how his employees are treating the customers. As I was driving back to my home (two hours), two questions kept popping into my head. 1. Where is humanity headed? For some dollars of profit, people are ready to play with other peoples’ emotions and cause hardship to them? I hope God does not severely punish Braided for what he did to me. I hope Braided is able to sleep tight in the night with clear conscience knowing how his sales practices are.
The sad part is there are so many consumer agencies and none of them are able to do anything so the consumers are not taken for a ride like this. What did I do wrong here? I found a vehicle, worked out the numbers over the phone because I live far. I asked for the mileage and whether it was new. I was given the assurance that it is new and there are only 2 miles on it only to get the surprise after going to the showroom. I will be sending a copy of this to Mr.Del, Revdex.com, PA Consumer affairs and see if anybody takes any action.

Review: On March 21st of this year I purchased a 2012 [redacted] for this Dealer. Everything about this transaction was bad but I liked the vehicle. They offered me financing thru their lender and the Salesman told me it would be 9 Percent which ended up being 12 Percent. They issued me a 30 day Pennsylvania Temporary Tag. I asked then if there was any way I could expedite the process of transferring my tag and they said it wouldn't be any problem. The tag ran out after thirty day and I had nothing to drive. I called the dealership and was directed to the girl who takes care of their registration. She told me the quickest way to remedy my situation was to go to a Maryland Vehicle Administration close to me and have information Faxed to me from the [redacted] location. She didn't know how I was supposed to get there, with dead tags on the car. I ended up getting a friend to take me. Found out there was a 5-6 week back log at [redacted]. When they did the paperwork that day they said that there was an over payment of 106 Dollars. They said it would be sent to the dealer via a check? Why not refunded to me?

The day the deal was written they insisted that their lender needed Gap Insurance. Why is this needed when my down payment was over half of the price of the car? Why did they need 1547 Dollars more of a down Payment, plus 16 Thousand with my trades for a 29 Thousand Dollar Used Car? The following Monday I cancelled payment of 1547 dollars to get their attention. I went to the dealership and dealt this time with the Sales Manager. I complained about the Gap Insurance and they had raised the price of the car to 30 Thousand Dollars. They re wrote the contract to shoe 29 Thousand as the selling price an coerced me into a [redacted] Maintenance Program for the 895 dollars on the Gap Insurance Line. Why I needed a [redacted] Maintenance I did ask for on a Used [redacted] I have no idea.

Why was I expected to get my purchased car Maryland Inspected? Isn't this something a dealer should do? I paid 75 dollars to have the car inspected on my own time and delivered the Certificate back to the dealer the same day. When I inquired about this the Sales Manager said the never get out of state cars inspected and that it was the buyers responsibility. I have bought many cars out of state and never had to pay for this.

When I took possession of the vehicle the salesman told me that he had called my insurance company had been called and the car was covered. I called them 3-4 days later to touch base with them and they knew nothing about the transaction. I drove an uninsured car for 4 days!

I have tried many times to reason with these people and have gotten no where. I wrote a negative review on the website [redacted] and got a very apologetic response from the owner Jack D** and thought my problems would soon be addressed. On a second call to the owner...Wow was he ever Nasty! Told me he would effing Sue me if I contacted you! The Sales Manager called the next day to see if we could expedite the refund of 895 dollars. I faxed info to him from my lender to prove it had been paid in full because I refinanced thru my own lender at a more attractive rate.Desired Settlement: I would like to see a refund of the 895 Dollars that I paid for the unnecessary Gap Insurance/Toyota Maintenance. I would like to get a refund of 75 Dollars for the State Inspection. I would like to see a refund of 106 Dollars that I feel I over paid the MVA. I would like a Sincere letter of apology from the Dealership/Owner for all the grief I should haven't had to go thru. I can't put a monetary amount on my time...

Review: I bought a car the last day of march this year. At first everything was great, 5 miles down the road after I left becoming an owner the gas light comes on... it said it was full during the test drive. Go to fill it up and it gives me a gallon of gas, I called immediately they said bring it in tomorrow we will check it out. While waiting for them to check the car out and see why the gas gauge was reading empty they asked us to meet with the finance lady again. So we went in there and after all the i's were dotted and t's were crossed this car was ours she said that the warranty we agreed upon, the price wasn't right bc she didn't factor in the turbo, so she had to re-write the whole contract that had been signed and dated the 3/31/14. The new agreement was signed using the old date, and then she had changed the original agreement for less work able to be covered which was NOT agreed upon for more money!!!! Nothing was resolved with the gas light either they said drive it for a few days we changed some fluids etc etc ... Did what they asked making a journal as they asked. NOTHING WAS RESOLVED and after the numerous times of them making excuses and changing the fluids the month warranty the dealership gives was over!!!!! They could no longer do anything about it!!!! They said the car was in great condition with having it inspected, go to find out all the tires need to be replaced and the turbo leaks, needs a new fuel pump adapter for the gas light that won't read, all the fuses in the car are blowing out one by one... and our warranty doesn't cover to much after they changed everything with out making a point to tell us as they did the first time, which is unprofessional!!!!!Desired Settlement: I just want my gas light/fuel pump FIXED with out having to pay a dime, they told us they'd fix it and never did, I want my original warranty that covered up to two tiers of work to be done, if I'm paying more money I should be getting what I originally signed for stating I was getting two tiers worth of service ( I do still have the original copy and the second copy of the agreement signed)
