January 26, 2018Dear Ms [redacted] :I am in receipt of your letter dated January 15, This letter is in response to the complaint that was filed on January 14, 2018, which was assigned an ID number of [redacted] .The allegations contained in the Complaint are completely falseThe job took longer than expected because of the Complainant’s behaviorHe called the police on me for asking him to leave my facility and lied to them about the circumstances surrounding why I asked him to leaveAfter he found out I have security cameras at my shop, he admitted to the police that he lied.! went above and beyond to keep the Complainant informed of the job progress and costs involvedAt one point, Complainant instructed my employee to put the old transmission back in the truck and he would have it towed elsewhereShortly thereafter, he returned and apologized stating he wanted our shop to finish the jobThese are just two instances of his conductHe was charged for the time it took to perform the jobIt is not my fault that he chose to conduct himself in an inappropriate manner, which delayed the job from being completed soonerTherefore, I am not willing to issue the complainant a refund for the balance paid.Sincerely,Delmer *D [redacted] **
