Review: I went to this Salon to get a haircut and full color after reading their reviews on Yelp and that they stated they were a "Folsom's BEST HIGH-END Salon." I did not have any idea as to who was going to be my stylist. The stylist who cut & colored my hair had no idea what she was doing. She colored my hair with a bottle of color that looked like a bottle of hair color I can pick up at the drug store. The color did not stay in my hair and its been 4 days since I had this done, it washed out immediately after the first wash when I got home. Second the stylist had no idea what she was doing as far as cutting hair. I gave her a picture of the style of cut I wanted and she said its easy and she can do that (which would have been a trim of my long hair and freshened layers and bangs). She cut 4-5 inches off of my length when I told her to trim it only about 1.5-2 inches only, she cut my hair in random places which looks like a 5 year old just cut my hair. The stylist then curled my hair so I would not be able to see this horrible job she did, she cut off my long bangs too short and now my hair will not style properly at all. She did a chop job of my hair for working at a salon that is claiming to be the best in Folsom and a high-end salon to top it off. I am very upset with this sloppy and unprofessional haircut and color. I contacted/emailed the Manager immediately that evening after getting home and washing my hair for myself and seeing the what she really did to my hair and I was horrified. I am devastated with what my hair looks like, the salon should not have rookies working at a such a salon. I trusted this salon to do a good job because of their reviews on Yelp and not to mention all the reviews are raves about the Manager/Owner [redacted], but not about her staff. She has inadequate stylist who are not capable of doing a good job. I originally wanted the salon to fix what they did to my hair. I've contacted the manager via email and I wrote a review on Yelp so the manager surely knows whats going on, but she has not made an attempt to contact me to resolve the situation. If this is how they want to treat their customers then I don't want anything more to do with them. I want my money back so I can go get my hair fixed at a real professional salon where the stylist know what they are doing.

We are aware of your complaint with the Services you received at De La Muse. We are also aware that you purchased your services through Groupon at a severe discounted rate. And any refund that you are looking for would have to be taken up through Groupon. However, since you did use your Groupon and it was redeemed at the time of your service, which you seemed very pleased with when you left the salon, we are not sure what Groupon's policy is on that. If you were truly unhappy with your services received you should have addressed it at the time of your appointment instead of going home and then proceeding to send out slanderous reviews across the internet and never addressing your concerns face to face. Now to address your complaint- It is unfortunate that you say you're unhappy with your service, however this does not come as a surprise considering your reviews of other businesses you have "reviewed". I assure you none of our stylist are "rookies" as you so claim. In the future I ask you to be realistic with the hairstyles you choose for yourself. Bringing in a picture of a mannequin wearing a wig is not realistic. Your stylist suggested that you should not wash your hair for 24-48 hours to give your cuticle time close and allow the hair color to penetrate. However, you chose to ignore her advice and wash your hair that night, so obviously hair color would come off. Also, I'm not sure if you are aware of the ongoing clean up of water in the Mather area (which I see is where you live) by the Air Force. It started in 1980 and will continue until 2050. Contaminated water will strip color from your hair very rapidly.
