The service dept. Is nothing but a circus and their mechanics are clowns. If you drop your vehicle off for an inspection , oil change, and recall be prepared to stay overnite. Incompetance excells at Delacy. We will not be buying our next car at Delacy
[redacted] purchased an pre-owned Ford [redacted] from us in October 2013. After some time, around June of 2014,...
she experienced a transmission shift issue. The concerns were covered under factory warranty and she was given alternate transportation. Our original repair did not fully correct the concern. She brought the vehicle back again and was given a loaner. She expressed to us that she really didn’t like the [redacted] and actually liked the loaner vehicle, a Ford [redacted]. We had talked about a deal, trading in the [redacted] and purchasing the [redacted]. We came to an agreement and set up a delivery time. Just prior to the [redacted] delivery, During testing required by Ford, a fluid failure occurred and there was a loss due to fire. We took total responsibility for the loss. Since the issue with the [redacted] is between [redacted] and us, we opted to make the customer happy and deliver the vehicle she wanted.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I want the dealership to admit they gave me false information and intentionally lied to me to get me to purchase another vehicle from them. They knew full well if I had known my first vehicle had been totaled in a fire caused at their service center, that I would have taken my money somewhere else. This dealership has gone out of their way to lie to me and I won't let it happen to someone else. I want a formal apology in writing and until that happens I will continue to fight for the truth.
Have experienced terrible service for both my personal and company vehicles. Their service department is a joke and their sales team is a bunch of con-artists. Try to sell you something on the opposite spectrum of what you're looking for, then take you on a test drive and ask you drive to their house so they can sell parts they had listed for sale on [redacted].

I will not stop fighting Delacy until I get a formal apology. Until that time, none of their responses will be accepted, and I will continue to use other avenues, such as [redacted], until I make my point. An apology would save the company a lot of time and embarrassment- I just want [redacted] to tell me he is sorry that his company lied to me and he sold me the car under false pretenses.
