This letter is a response to the complaint filed with the Revdex.com on 2/7/15. After reading Mrs***’s complaint I was able to do some research on exactly what happened throughout the situation. The main complaint stems from us submitting her credit information to more than one
financial institution. After researching and speaking with both the salesperson, the finance manager and the sales manager the same recollection of the process was established. Mrs*** told me that she let the salesperson know to only submit to one financial institution. The salesperson does not recall that ever being mentioned. Our finance department is challenged with trying to gain an approval with approved financial institutions which sometimes requires submitted an application to more than one place. Delaney Hyundai did submit Mrs***’s application to various financial institutions and did obtain an “Approval” from one of our sources. This was relayed to Mrs*** and she was made aware of the terms and conditions that we received. At that point she chose not to proceed with the deal. After a few days, Mrs*** called me and complained that her credit scored dropped points specifically from Delaney submitting her application. This was not accurate as we have stored her original application and credit score form the initial inquiry.I did apologize to her from the miscommunication that occurred and did try to see if there was any “better” finance approval that would allow her to take advantage of the approval that we had already obtained. Again , she chose not to proceed and thanked me for my time and said that she would check back with us in a few months to see if she may be in a better position to get a new carI said that would be great and that we would be glad to try and accommodate her.I am very sorry that she did not have a good experience. We certainly will look for ways to improve our process, but in this instance I feel that we did offer her on opportunity to accomplish what she set out to do…..purchase a new/pre-owned vehicle. I will certainly be happy to discuss any other issues with her personallyI look forward to answer any additional questions that you or Mrs*** may have with Delaney’s. I am available either by phone…..*** ** *** *** *** Thank you for your time to discuss this concern

Review: Dealer required a deposit to hold a vehicle I was interested in purchasing, claiming the deposit was fully refundable if I decided not to purchase. No contract for purchase or intent to purchase was signed - this deposit was just to hold the vehicle for me until I could make the trip to the dealership to see it. When I called to inform them I could not purchase it, and asked for a refund, the dealer tried one more time to push the sale through. After I repeated that that I could not purchase it, and after repeated requests for a refund, I have still not received my deposit back. All requests have gone unanswered since, and I've had to file a dispute with my credit company against this charge.Desired Settlement: A full refund of my deposit, with an explanation of why all my requests for a refund have gone unanswered for over two weeks.

Review: When I bought my car in June, I was offered 3 month of free blue link service. My car only had 200 miles on it when purchased. I tried to open an acct for my blue link and it would not register my car. I called blue link and they told me my car was already register. I found out that it was a show room car and they hooked up the blue link under the managers name. I had to go to dealer to get this fixed. I went back to dealership and they said no its blue links problem. I have been going back and forth between the dealership and blue link company now for 3 months. Still no blue link in my car. I am only getting the run around. Blue link and the dealership does not return phone calls and no one seems to car that I am frustrated. I wish I would never have bought this car. This is the second time that a Hyundai garage has not followed through with there services. This is the 6th Hyundai vehicle I have purchased and the 3rd Sonata. I feel very frustrated and will not ever buy from them again.Desired Settlement: Would like blue link or the dealership to give me my free trial on my car.

Response:

I feel really bad for [redacted], We were well aware of the situation and the actual problem was ????? not with us or Hyundai. It was with the independent company which supplies Hyundai with the Blue Link service. After many phone calls and e-mails from myself and our rep from Hyundai we finally got the situation resolved. I have managed to get the [redacted]'s a free 3 year subscription at no charge to them. I know that does not make up for the days and hours of back and forth phone calls and e-mails with us and Blue Link. I completely understand their frustration and once again I am very sorry for any inconvenience. [redacted] General Manager Delaney Hyundai

Review: I talked to a salesman about a car. I told him they could run my credit at one agency. If its run all over it lowers your credit score. So far I have received 8 refusal letters and theses people have lowered my score tremendously. I told them I was trying to build up my credit, but I guess it didnt matter. I talked to the assisant manager, [redacted] at hyundai and all he did was try to put me into a car that would have been so over budget. I feel theses people should be made accountable for this. Its going to take a long time for me to get my credit score back to a descent number. All he did was say yes it was wrong and apologized. Thank you. Desired Settlement: I want them to contact the credit bureaus and get these inquiries off my credit.

This letter is a response to the complaint filed with the Revdex.com on 2/7/15.

I took my car in for an inspection and was told that I needed four new tires due to dry rot (my tires are less than 2 years old and have aprox 15K mi on them.) I was also told I needed new rear rotors and pads and I was also told I needed a rear right shock. The estimate price was over $1400. A week later I took my car to a different business for inspection and did not need any of these things, not even close. I paid a total of $30 and was advised that I might need to replace my rear tires due to tread in about 8 months.

SHAME ON DELANEY. I will not even take my car there for them to install a minor recall issue which won't cost me anything. They have lost my trust forever.
