Review: On July 2, 2015, I purchased a recliner for $611.88. I charged the $100 required for a down payment. He would allow me to use my credit card only if I paid by cash or check when I received the delivery. I received the recliner on July 31, 2015. Within a week of using it the seat cushioning got weak and collapsed down. It’s like sitting in a hole. And with three knee surgeries and waiting on a hip surgery, it is almost impossible to get out of the chair. On August 10 I went to the store to talk with [redacted] and told him about the problem. I asked him to come and see the chair. He kept stalling about when he would come to see it. Finally he agreed to coming to my home on August 15 or 16. I waited home all weekend and he never called or showed up. For $611.88 I need a chair that I can get out of. Just because I am a senior and a female doesn’t mean I’m a tree stump. I think this [redacted] guy is taking advantage of me. No wonder he didn’t want me to use my credit card. He already cashed my check. Please help me.Desired Settlement: I would like the recliner repaired so I can use it.
