Review: On May 15, 2014 I went to the Delaware Eye Institute to have an eye examination with an opthomologist since I am diabetic. I had my eyes examined and refracted, but not by [redacted], the opthomologist. It was performed by a tech. I saw the Dr. for less than 5 minutes of which he handed me the prescription. Upon getting this prescription filled elsewhere, I discovered something was wrong, since I could not read road signs at a distance and creeped up too close to other vehicles. Several days later after trying the glasses several times, I had the lenses read at an independent dealer and they were made exactly as to what the prescription called for. I then had another doctor perform an eye exam on me and the prescription was different and what my eyes needed to be correct. I then contacted the Delaware Eye Institute and talked to [redacted] whom I thought to be in customer service. Her answer was to have a whole new appointment made. I said: "you want me to drive another 30-35 minutes each way and spend almost another 2 hours there." I told her that was lost time for me and another day off. She then said she would get back to me, because I said that I would not pay the 20.00 balance after insurance. Then a couple of days later I received a call from from a Mr. Uffelman and I explained what had happened. He asked that I fax him a copy of the new prescription and he would see what he could do. After more than a week, I called and left him a message, but he never returned it. In the past months the only person to contact me was someone in regards to the 20.00 balance, of which I explained the whole situation and she knew nothing about this. This is where the situation stands today and it shows me that no one cared to resolve it or talk to me.Desired Settlement: The incorrect lenses that were made, cost me 202.00 and this should be refunded to me, since this was their error. The 20.00 balance in my opinion should be abated since I had all the trouble, but if they settle and want their 20.00, then I will settle it that way.

Review: I have went to Delaware Eye Institute for Double Vision On the last visit to them in March of 2014 [redacted] ordered blood work to rule out Mayo dysplasia I went to the [redacted] Express and paid 384.00 for the blood Work ordered by [redacted] At my appointment in April of 2014 the nurse had no knowledge of my record she proceeded to do the eye test that was performed in Jan 2014 Feb 2014 and march 2014 I told her I already had these done she said nothing was in my chart I said I had to have blood work done is that in there She said No blood work was ordered and nothing was in my chart This office has a lack of knowledge of their patients and I have now changed over to [redacted] Institute in Salisbury Maryland. In Feb 2014 I was scheduled to see [redacted] I sat in the waiting room for 2 hours for the front desk to tell me that I shouldn't have been scheduled to see [redacted] After seeing [redacted] He said I should have seen [redacted]Desired Settlement: I have paid in excess of $600.00 for Dr Visits and blood work with Just Delaware Eye Institute Since they have no idea of who they were treating I feel like they should refund my money
