Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below per my conversation on the phone, please add to complaint: Complaint ID: [redacted] I am still seeking a refund from [redacted] ***'s office for the work which failed and had to be redone Please add this to my response to [redacted] ***'s office: It makes absolutely no sense that a permanent crown would be placed with a temporary cement The procedure with a crown(I have had them in the past) is to have a temporary crown placed on with temporary cement They make a mold for the permanent crownThen you come back, the temporary crown is removed, and the permanent Crown is inserted with permanent cement If [redacted] did otherwise, it was highly unusual and probably bad dental practice I was never informed if in fact that is what was done, and was under the impression that part of my work was complete I almost choked to death on the crown when it came off You can tell [redacted] if she continues to lie her way out of this, I will go to the Delaware licensing Board, where a fellow dentist can review her highly irregular procedures for pubic safety and ethics

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowThe doctor is lying The Crown was cemented in with regular cement, not temporaryI was NEVER asked to come in again for that particular problem My new dentist said it failed because of the way it was placed in He never saw any temporary cement Crowns should last 10-years I continued on with my work with other dentists, and kept my regular appointments and check ups I left [redacted] because she told my wife who also went to her that she had a cavity My wife has never had a cavity in all her years on this earth My wife confirmed with another dentist that this was a trumped up diagnosis to run the bill upI never yelled at anyone until the office manager mocked me because I was mumbling Her description was also a lie Have them produce tapes of the phone call to prove what they are saying They claim they record the calls You will see her mocking me within the first minute of the call I had no time to yellShe was being rude to send me away, and they had no intention of fixing their bad work

This letter is in reference to the response made by the patient. At our office,we do not daim or have any system that states we record any phone conversationThe patient spoke with a front desk receptionist for at least 2-minutes (yelling) before she was completery uncomfortable and transferred to the office manager. We offered for the patient to come in to our office the same day he calledThe patient had not been to our office in yearsThe patient states he kept up with his other work and cleanings at another office for the years in between seeing us and his crown falling offAt any time in between there, why was the crown "issue" not addressed if he was told it was not put on correctly?Still, to this day, If the patient were to call In reference to a crown that there was a problem with, we would still offer to see himPatient was never denied services or treatment in our officeFor us to diagnose whether or not the crown Is believe to be a "falling crown", we would need to see the patient first prior to making this decision. As far as addressing the wife's concerns and why they were brought up is a moot pointThey are irrelevant, and a matter of opinion, to the claim at hand

I recently visited Delaware Modern Dental for the first time I had scheduled to get my teeth cleaned Previously, getting my teeth clean was a difficult procedure with lots of bleeding gums I was pleasantly surprised with this office I was met by a friendly, professional staff, and I had my teeth cleaned by Angel First, I had X-Rays taken (usually a very difficult process.) Although it was still difficult, it was not as bad as usual While Angel was cleaning my teeth, there was far less blood than normal She was very gentle After my cleaning, I met DrMay who reviewed all the X-rays and put my mind at ease It was a great experience and I will continue to go to Delaware Modern Dental for all my dental needs

per my conversation on the phone, please add to complaint:
Complaint ID: [redacted] I am still seeking a refund from [redacted]'s office for the work which failed and had to be redone.

Please add this to my response to [redacted]'s office:   It makes absolutely no sense that a permanent crown would be placed with a temporary cement.  The normal procedure with a crown(I have had them in the past) is to have a temporary crown placed on with temporary cement.  They make a mold for the permanent crown. Then you come back, the temporary crown is removed, and the permanent Crown is inserted with permanent cement.  If [redacted] did otherwise, it was highly unusual and probably bad dental practice.  I was never informed if in fact that is what was done, and was under the impression that part of my work was complete.  I almost choked to death on the crown when it came off.   You can tell [redacted] if she continues to lie her way out of this, I will  go to the Delaware licensing Board, where a fellow dentist can review her highly irregular procedures for pubic safety and ethics.

The patient had not been to our office in 3 years. The patient states he kept up with his other work and cleanings at another office for the 3 years in between seeing us and his crown falling off. At any time in between there, why was the crown "issue" not addressed if he was told it was not put on correctly?Still, to this day, If the patient were to call In reference to a crown that there was a problem with, we would still offer to see him. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. The doctor is lying.  The Crown was cemented in with regular cement, not temporary. I was NEVER asked to come in again for that particular problem.  My new dentist said it failed because of the way it was placed in.  He never saw any temporary cement.  Crowns should last 10-12 years.  I continued on with my work with other dentists, and kept my regular appointments and check ups.  I left [redacted] because she told my wife who also went to her that she had a cavity.  My wife has never had a cavity in all her 46 years on this earth.  My wife confirmed with another dentist that this was a trumped up diagnosis to run the bill up. I never yelled at anyone until the office manager mocked me because I was mumbling.  Her description was also a lie.  Have them produce tapes of the phone call to prove what they are saying.  They claim they record the calls.  You will see her mocking me within the first 1 minute of the call.  I had no time to yell. She was being rude to send me away, and they had no intention of fixing their bad work.

I recently went to Delaware Modern Dental for the first time, after the practice was highly recommended to me. I was so impressed with Dr May & the office staff. I was warmly greeted upon arrival. I was taken right on time. I am usually nervous in the dentist office, but Dr May explained, step by step, what she was doing & she put me totally at ease. I had the very very best teeth cleaning I have ever had. It didn't hurt & it was so easy.
I went back for another visit because I had to have a cavity filled. I had the same great experience. Dr May really listened when I said it takes a long time for the novacaine to work. My cavity was filled & my tooth feels great.
I would highly recommend Delaware Modern Dental. A great dental office.
