When the crew arrived I told them it just need trimming and a clean up and that the tree shaded the front of the houseWhen I saw it after the "pruning," I almost cried (photos can be seen on ***s list)The tree was over pruned, had bad cuts (looks like they cut half way through and then broke the rest), they topped the tree, they ruined the structure of the tree, and they left only a few branches with green on themTwo weeks later, the green branches were deadI asked the owner, Eric, to come out and tell me what to do about the branchesThe first words out of his mouth were "This looks badIt's not my fault." Before that, I wasn't assigning blameI just needed informationI assumed, wrongly, that he was a certified arborist and that his crew was knowledgeableNow my tree has little chance of recovery and may have to be removedThe fact that the owner is not taking responsibility for the damage is troublingI have since had two CERTIFIED arborists come out and tell me the same thingThat the tree crew pretty much killed my tree
I would love if they would stop flyering my home even though I have TWO No Soliciting signsWould not utilize their services because of the blatant disregard of posted sign - makes me wonder if other things might also be disregarded
