Delectable Delights

This is one of the most unprofessional companies I have ever encounteredWhen I first E-Mailed the owner, I was told I could come in for a cake tasting and we both agreed on 3/14/15, but when I arrived at the location, she did not even remember I was coming that day, and had absolutely no samples for me or my fiance to tryIt upset us quite a bit that we made the trip from Orlando all the way to Daytona which was an hour and minutes, and she did not even remember our appointmentThe owner then proceeded to ask us to come back the following weekend and she would have samples for us to try so we had to drive all the way back out to her location the following weekend and hope she would actually remember our appointment which luckily that time she didWe then signed the contract and gave her the deposit for our wedding date which would be on 04/16/
Later in the year, we decided we actually had to reschedule our wedding to 11/12/because the venue we wanted would only be available on that dayWe immediately contacted the owner of Delectable Delights on 12/1/through E-Mail to ask her if it would be okay to change the datesI waited about a week with no response from her so I decided to call her only to have her tell me that she received the E-Mail but had not had time to reply backShe told me she would reply back with the updated contract and price that night but I never received her E-MailI then waited a couple of days to give her enough time to send the updated contract but she never E-Mailed me so I decided to call her againWhen I did, she told me that she had not had time to send the contract but she would definitely send it that nightAgain I waited for the E-Mail that never arrived, and again I gave her a whole week to see if maybe she just needed more time to send the E-MailWhen I still didn't receive a response from her, I decided to call her again to find out what happened that had prevented her from sending me the updated contractThat time she did not reply and it went to voicemail stating that Delectable Delights was closed for the holidays, and that they would reopen on 1/6/I waited until 1/7/to try calling back but when I did, it again went straight to voicemail
I kept trying to call Delectable Delights for two weeks after that but every time I would call, it would just go straight to voicemail so I finally left a voicemail stating that I would give the owner one week to respond to me either by calling me or E-Mailing me, and if she did not, then I wanted to cancel the contract altogether and she could keep the deposit because this was extremely unprofessional and she was very unreliableI never received a response from her to this day, and I am not exactly sure why she decided to never contact meIf she did not want to reschedule the date, I would have been fine with her telling me this as I stated when I first notified her about the schedule change, I said that I would understand if she could not accommodate this, but instead she told me she would be able to change the date and send me the contract, yet never didThe reason I am posting this is because I want to prevent this from happening to other happy couples who are only looking for a beautiful cake for their weddingThis company is extremely unprofessional and not worth wasting time or money with
