Just have to say*** and one of his employees ***, did my family and myself a more than substantial favorThey made loading a foot U-Haul a super smooth processThey had no one available and when we noticed their was a flat tire, they patched it, got us another U-Haul, and came with us to load the new U-HaulBefore we left for our hour trip back home*** then had a prayer with usHe is by far one of the nicest guys you could deal withCant say thank you enough

Complaint2003 Land Rover Discovery II I took posession of on 3/28/14 after paying $3839.97 on 3/12/14 all that was left was to turn over my car he valued at 1500.00 and another check for front bumper damage done prior to purchase in the amount of 137.50. My husband and I smelt antifreeze before purchase ask that to be fixed it also would not pass inspection due to a O2 sensor Both of which are not fixed. The antifreeze problem was temporary fix with stop leak put in by someone which caused the 4 way radiotor connector that was the problem to begin with to bust dumping all the water at once causing the Land Rover to over heat messing up the motor. I had waited a additional two weeks because he said they coudn't find the part, then they had to drive it till the codes cleared so it would pass inspection.Product_Or_Service: 2003 Land Rover Discovery IIDesired Settlement1. Purchased a vehicle in good faith. Vehicle broke down and seller said he would make good. Seller now has vehicle, title, plate and down payment.I purchased a vehicle for my daughter. Made down payment with agreement to make payments on balance and took possession. After approximately 5 weeks I broke down with vehicle. Had vehicle towed to a dealership to be assessed. Was told vehicle was in need of major repairs and would not pass inspection. I contacted business I purchased it from and was told he would make good on situation. Keep in mind I never received permanent tag and still had temporary tag on vehicle. While he was supposed to make good on vehicle, I ran into someone else driving it! It was in my name, insurance in my name and the seller did not tell me someone else was driving it! I noticed temporary tag was removed and dealer tag was on it. I told seller it did not want vehicle and wanted money back especially after someone else was driving it. Seller did have a plate for vehicle which I never received. I cancelled plate so that I could cancel insurance which I had been paying on it while someone else drove it without my permission. Seller has proceeded to keep vehicle, my down payment and refuses to speak to me regarding vehicle and has actually threatened harassment charges and told me not to contact him further. I am extremely unhappy with service and way in which the seller has handled this.Desired SettlementI want a refund of my money for purchase of a vehicle that broke down, will not pass inspection and that was driven by someone of seller's choice without my permission. Business Response Seller bought vehicle "as is" she signed an as is waver, which she should be familiar with since she works at a dealership. Vehicle passed a NC emission/safety inspection prior to her buying the vehicle. Customer never put the full amount of down payment down and the vehicle was financed by us to help her and she was behind on payments. Current vehicle client is driving was "bought" by me and given to her because she didn't have a vehicle! Clients vehicle was repaired and checked out by independent mechanic and vehicle was found to be sound. Customer informed me by text and verbally she was no longer interested in vehicle 3x at which point vehicle was resold to recover 3k owed by customer. Customer was told tags were here she never picked them up. Customer lied to DMV about tags and reported them stolen knowing where they were. Customer has made mention she would go to court and I told her that was her choice. Customer drove as is in house financed vehicle which [redacted] Auto purchased from another client to assist her, she never put her full payment down never made the first monthly payment. After vehicle overheated "hole in radiator" she refused to believe it on advice from her co-workers that lied to her about the soundness of the vehicle and didn't even diagnosed what was initially wrong with vehicle. Customer currently owes the company money and has the gall to file complaint. We are under no legal obligation to refund any money or vehicle since we are owe money from customer and she drove for 45 days. Customer Consumer Response This issue has not been resolved. Business has responded by saying payments were behind. I have already stated I did NOT make payment due because he was in possession of vehicle, vehicle was not running and I witnessed and confronted another person driving vehicle. He has stated he sold vehicle. Months ago when I asked about getting my money back he stated "you will get your money when I sell vehicle". Well here we are still no resolution. He asked asked me to come in several times to see him and when I do, he states he doesn't have time to speak to me. He has also texted me asking if I received his check in mail. He stated he mailed it 6 days ago from [redacted] to [redacted]. No check. He is playing games. Sorry that this is the way he handles "business".
