The floor coating was part of a basement projectThe timing of the completion of the floor had to fit in our contractor's scheduleAfter the poor results of the floor finish and the lack of reasonable options from Concrete Ink we carpeted the whole basement at our expenseThis was not pearl of
our budget for the project. Having a contractor refinish the stairs, the cost of the carpeting and installation we are out approx $5,over and above the $we paid Concrete Ink. We feel at this point we should be compensated for all the costs we have invested in this project

Dear ***,First, I would like to point out that Concrete Ink is not in the business of deceiving customers or leaving them unsatisfiedWe have installed hundreds of floors with this being the first complaint we have receivedAlso, no credit card payment was received from *** *** (transactions were all by check).In response to complaint 2016-CONSC-filed b *** ***:Concrete Ink installed the flooring system (Dye and Seal) using the color selected by the customer, even after they were adamantly warned that Dye and Seal was not a good system for their floor and w could not guarantee the outcome with the existing non-cementitious patching presentI've attached a picture of the finished floor to show the extensive patching areas that were present in the floor and that the result is exactly what was explained to the customer.Dave *** stated he finished the final coating on August 31st and received a check for the final amount from *** *** who stated the floor looked great.On September 1st the customer called Dave regarding the out gassing that was occurringWe immediately ordered product to resolve this issue (which arrived days later and is currently sitting on our shelf) and Dave has made several attempts to contact customer leaving messages with no one returning his call.We were unaware of any damage done to stairway as this is the first we have heard thisI have interviewed my staff and no one was aware of any damage done to staircase.Id the ***'s do not want to deal with Dave ***, they can contact me directly at 217-971-2080.Sincerely,Gerald VonDeBur
