Ms. [redacted] called the company Capital Remodeling Inc, as she was interested in the Window replacement offer. After the company's employee showed up to her house to make an offer, he insisted several times that she sign a contract because it would expire the following day. The employee told her he would go to her house the next day to start replacing the windows but he never showed up. As soon as she noticed he wrote on the contract he would start the work on March 1, 2016 until March 2, 2016 she decided to call on January 6, 2016 to cancel the order. The employee mentioned to her she may cancel anytime as long as it is within the first 7 days on the signed date. However, Ms. [redacted] was told by the customer service representative from Capital Remodeling Inc. to contact Shawn [redacted] Mr. [redacted] told her he now had her credit card information and he has her singed agreement and is able to do anything he wants with that information. Throughout the entire process, representatives were rude, and frankly, tricking me. To date, no work has been done, I asked if they could do any work at all now that they have taken over 3000 dollars from me and they claimed no! It was just a deposit and covered not work cost, all of which they are entitled to keep

The sales person stated we only use our people, trained skilled technicians. If you use Home depot they hire sub contractors. The guys that put in my door admitted that they were subcontractors and one of them couldnt even communicate with me as he didnt speak english. I wasnt happy with the finished work.

The next contractor that came in for the bathroom left a hole in my bedroom wall and said it would come in handy if I ever needed to work on the shower. He said he really didnt have any materials to fix the hole which he cut out of the wall. I had to call his supervisor to make him complete the repair. He also installed the shower bar that never hung properly. Now the shower controls wont cut off the water and they want to charge repair and materials fee. For the amount of money spent on these jobs, I shouldnt be paying anything or having issues less than 2 years after service.

On January 4th, 2016, upon receiving a newspaper advertisement about window replacements, I called capital remodeling to inquire about their services. After being over an hour late, they showed up, talked about what I though would have been a good deal, and then stated that I had to sign a very confusing contract and place a $3,000 dollar deposit because they deal would no longer be valid the next day. I wearily signed and upon reviewing the contract the next day, I realized that they dates, payments, and other details were different than what we had spoken about. I tried numerous times to get a hold of the man who came, but he never picked up or returned my calls, to which point I feared that it was all a scam and wanted to cancel the contract. Because for almost one week I could not get a hold of the company member, I told my credit card company directly that I wanted to cancel the transaction. Now, four months later, I am out 3,000 dollars, to which the company claims they can not put in a SINGLE window. Throughout the whole process, when I was able to get in touch with representatives, they were rude and almost mocking my situation! I am appalled that this company continues to be allowed to trick and frankly rob consumers.
