On or about June 2 2014 my wife and I purchased two vehicles from the dealership , our sales person was [redacted] . After the test drive and agreeing on the price one of the vehicles a 2007 Lincoln mkx had a vibration in the car upon a start from a dead stop . I asked them to look into the issue , they did and after getting a diagnosis I was contacted by [redacted] and he told me that it needed a new transmission . They had ordered it and management was not to happy because it was $4,200 . After almost two weeks we took delivery of the vehicle . Knowing that the "new" transmission did not solve the issue and now a new rear driveshaft was on order . I took delivery of the vehicle and made an appointment to have the driveshaft installed two days later. While I had it in my garage I noticed some fluid under the car and jacked it up to check it .

I found that the transmission was not new or even a remanufactured transmission but a transmission from a salvage yard . I have no information of the mileage or condition of the vehicle it came from . I was mislead of the condition of the repair part and have had nothing but excuses and more miscommunication amongst the people in the dealership that I have no choice but to file this complaint . I would not have paid full price for the vehicle or even completed the purchase at all if I knew they where putting junk car parts in it to begin with . In my opinion the salesperson acting as an agent of the company flat out committed a fraudulent sale by telling me that it was a new transmission that cost the dealership $4,200 .
