Review: I am worried that a man named [redacted] with a recruiting company called Deloitte Search Group has tried to scam me. I am currently job hunting. He emailed me asking if I would like to set up a phone interview. I went to his website and picked a time slot for last Friday 6/6 at 3pm. He then asked me to fill out an online application, take a lengthy assessment test online (which at one point in the process had study books for purchase), and then send 2 references. I completed all these prerequistes, which took about 5 hours of my time. He never called for the 3pm interview on Friday. My emails to him bounced back and the phone number is always busy.Other things that made me question if this business is ligitimate and/or a scam:Spelling errorsThe title of the job position does not matche the title of the assessment test.The confirmation of receipt of my 2 references was emailed to one of my references, not me.Every email had a warning of technical issues.I have all the emails from [redacted] if they are needed. This company needs to be investigated. Thank you,[redacted]Desired Settlement: I would like you to verify whether Deloitte Search Group is a legitimate employment recruiting business, and if not, they are falsely luring job seekers into a process that is not valid and is a collossal waste of time. I believe he is trying to get people to buy his reference guides which prepare you for the online assessment required to get the interview. I am suspecting that he takes the money, your credit card info, and does not send the guide. The jobs don't exist. Please help!
