case was opened, and again asked them to do as he promised and ship me a replacement steering rack assy( for the possible safety defective one I was originally sent) OR send me my complete old steering rack back so that I can at least pay someone again to install my old rack so that I can return his defective rack. As I listed in the original case I have now paid to ship my original rack assy back to him paid a mechanic to install it, paid multiple times for mechanics to keep trying different things to make the possible defective rack work and have been misled countless times. I took seller at his word , he has said multiple times he was shipping me a full replacement unit ( if requested I can provide emails, text copies of this from the seller) and each week was a new excuse. I don't feel as a consumer that now I should pay again to remove his possible safety defective rack and ship it all the way back at my expense when I will then no longer have a core rack assy to be able to order a good unit form another company. ( all the vendors require a complete used rack assy as a core or you have to pay 200-300 more if you are trying to purchase a rebuild steering rack unit like I purchased from Josh the owner at Delorean Performance Industries) . I believe my request was very fair and simple , to do what was promised or if he wishes refund what I paid for the rack and let me be able to use his possible defective rack as a core with another vendor or a third option ship me back my original rack I sent in and allow me the time to send it in to another vendor as a core so I can purchase a rack that is safe for my family to be able drive with in my vehicle. I would hope I am wrong but I highly doubt going off all the false statements he has sent that he will ever refund me for the rack. It would appear with the very late reply that the seller simply wants his Revdex.com review to be positive. If the customer was a concern then he would be like most business's which allow Facebook reviews, Google reviews, all these options are turned off by the seller and any post on Facebook page that are not positive are immediately deleted ( I know because while I did not leave a negative I posted on his Facebook page to please let me know what was going on as you never receive a response and later it was removed . This is a real shame to operate a business like this. All I wanted was for me and my family to feel safe when driving a vehicle and it appears from my experience this seller does not have any concern over the safety of his customers only how much they can spend. I wanted this worked out positively and certainly feel I have given the seller many, many months to make good on his promises but it will appear I will need to write a letter to states attorney general , and other consumer protection groups of my experience so they may possibly want to investigate this companied business practices.
