Review: I got in an accident and took my car to get repaired at Del's Auto in Onalaska. I received the car back after a very long delay in repairs and went to pick up my step son at daycare. When I came back out to my car the bumper was sitting on the ground. I called my brother to come help me and he said that there were no bolts in there and he wasnt surprised it fell off. I called Del's and they asked me to bring it in. After they looked at it, they came back and blamed me for hitting something. There is NO damage on the NEW bumper, so for them to say that is completely invalid. The owner refused to repair my vehicle as we paid him to do and he said the reason he didnt want to is because my uncle went online and threatened to complain to the Revdex.com. I tried telling him I didnt know anything about that and it's irrelevent what my uncle says, I told him that it doesnt matter what my uncle says he still needs to fix my car and he told me he only would if I paid and that was completely not acceptable to me and I let him know that. As I was leaving either him or the mechanic called me a foul name but I did not respond. This business owes me a repair that I paid for, I should not have to take this somewhere else to fix this since it should have been done on inital repair.Desired Settlement: I want them to fix what they failed to fix the first time. They obviously didnt complete my repair and are blaming me for it now. There is absolutely no damage to my bumper as there would be if I hit something. Nor would all the bolts be missing. They are only missing because they were never put back to begin with.

I am writing this reply on the complaint of Del's Auto Repair on May 8, 2015. Many of the facts that were stated in the complaint were in fact not true. Yes we did front end work on the vehicle, the date that we completed the initial repairs was January 12, 2015. After completing the repairs we did not hear anything from the owner about any problems till May 4, 2015, when the customer before even mentioning anything to us about the car, proceeded to put a very fabricated and threatening comment on our face book page. When the customer called in the next day and said and I quote" I ran into a parking block and when I backed up to get off of it, it ripped the bumper off". I then told her that she needed to bring the car back in so we can take a look at it. She then brought the car in, we put it back on to the lift so we could take a look at it, at that point the bumper was zip tied on from the parking block incident the day before. We looked at all the components that hold the bumper to the car and could tell that the plastic clips and screws were properly in place and that the amount of stress from the parking block had either ripped them out or snapped them off. There were visible stress marks all the way around the car and huge scuff marks under the bumper that showed where she ran over the parking block. We (Del's auto) were planning on fixing it for her for just the price of the products needed. When Todd ( the owner ) questioned her about the comment that was posted on our face book page, she got all defensive and demanded her car down right away. Bottom line the repairs we did on the car were done right the first time, because if they were not the bumper would have never made it through snow and ice without having issues for nearly 4 months and it would have taken a lot less that a parking block to remove it.
