We are in contact with the customer, we have agreed to fixing all items she has requested

After careful review of the claim you have submitted, we have concluded the following; Regarding our company acting under false pretenses, we did offered your father our services, we did in fact have a list of customers from the out of business [redacted] LLC who left thousands of consumers...

without service after they collected pre-payment for said services. We called some of the customers and offered our services for free as show of good faith, we never presented our company as other than Delta Air Conditioning LLC.  Our technicians have uniforms as well as signage on the vehicles they drive with our company information. Subsequently to the phone call, we were at your father’s property in 2 visits prior to the installation of the new unit.  On those 2 visits, the unit was checked thoroughly and recommendations were made including; clean the duct work, to obtain an electrostatic filter, these recommendations were at that time declined by your father. On our third visit, we discovered that the compressor was running higher amperage than the maximum RLA (running load amperage) per the factory data plate.  We again made recommendations to your father  and he opted to replace the unit. On our fourth visit, we recommended other add-ons/upgrades to the system which your father opted to purchase. We have been in the business for over 11 years, as a company we average for the past few years over 4000 service work orders per year, more than 50% of our customers are in fact Senior Citizens.  We could not sustain this level of service if we were in fact in the business of taking advantage of Senior Citizens as you so stated in your complaint. In regards to our staff being rude to you, we believe the contrary.  Since you will not accept anything less than a full refund for services and products that have been completed, installed, and in good working conditions for over a year, your attitude and demands towards us has been unreasonable. You also stated that other reputable companies have told you that the products and services acquired from us would have been available elsewhere for a lesser amount, we cannot speak intelligently about other company’s business practices nor can they of ours.  We believe we have acted in good faith towards your dad, the proof being that on the first visits the inspections were in fact done free of charge as promised, even though as you so stated the Preventive maintenance agreement was purchased elsewhere. It is company policy to always inquire about anyone else assisting with financial decisions when dealing with senior citizens, we were not advised to contact you in this instance. Delta Air Conditioning LLC. stands by the warranty of the products and services purchased by Mr. [redacted] and also by the manner in which it conducts business.

We have tried to contact this customer and have not being able to reach him.  We would be glad to refund the total amount of his last invoice.  The labor warranty does not include small component replacement nor does it include freeon if there is ever a need for it.

Delta AC came out to look at why my AC stopped working. The tech who came out told me my unit was shot and he could fix it for just shy of $1400.00. Then he explained that if I started the maintenance program (mind you if your not already a member with them its costs close to $600 for 3 years to obtain one) that I could get a percentage off IF I signed up with the maintenance program which came close to $1275.00. Of course all of the pricing for just a repair to get it up and running was stressful enough then the tech started showing me prices to get a BRAND NEW unit for $6400.00. I was beyond stressed out at this point that. So I told the tech I'll have to speak with my boyfriend so we could collectively decide what we were going to do.I did pay the "service fee" of $79.95(which is a fee that at the beginning I was told would be taken off if my unit was serviced but in the quote for $1400.00 it was included across the board). So a couple hours later the tech calls me again and is informing me of financing that is available to us if we couldn't pay for everything out of pocket.

So at this point I'm maxed out. Hearing that its going to basically cost me an outrageous amount of money to fix it. My boyfriend and I were able to find a second opinion.

The tech that came out evaluated the unit and came back and said it would cost $175.00 to get the AC up and running. That it needed a few new pieces and some coil cleaning.

Right after my AC was working again. I call Delta back and asked to speak to a manager and asked for my 'coming out to just look at my unit" fee back which was $79.95. I was given the "That's our service charge" speech. I told them I could have been fine leaving it if the estimate where close. The price quoted by Delta wasn't even a fraction of what I PAID to get my system running.

My attempts to have a manager call me back have been ignored. This happened 8/8/2016 and its 8/11/2016 and still no call.

I don't know about you but when most of the middle class is struggling right now to even make ends meat $80 is $80.

Don't use this company if you know whats good for you. They must think everyone is made of money to be even quoted those kind of prices just for a repair to get my unit up and running.

I found Delta Air Conditioning quite by accident and am very glad that I did. After the frustration of dealing with Ace Home Services when they bought Ballard A/C, I wanted to find a small local company. Carlos came to my house on time and performed a thorough inspection of three units in two hours. He showed me the numerical values of all tests and gave me a list of things that will need to be done in the future. The charge for his travel time and two hours of work were far below what I expected based on my negative experience with Ace. He did not try any high pressusre sales for things that don't need to be done. He also told me what to expect from his technicians during future service calls.

Review: The technician that came to my home on May 23, 2013, [redacted], after inspecting my air conditioner, stated that their was an air leak at the Plenum elbow and that it was smashed in. He also stated that my T-stat (thermostat) wire was exposed. At that time he informed me that these items could not be fixed only replaced. I did go ahead with the replacement as I am 86 years old and need air conditioning to survive in my house in the summertime. During the two days that it took for them to get a new unit to my home to replace the old one, my old unit continued to work perfectly fine. On May 25, 2013, two men from this company showed up to take my old unit off of the house and install the new unit. After my son recently arrived from Colorado and started checking into this (as I am on Social Security and have a small pension) he found that these are items that indeed can be fixed and should have been fixed and not replaced the entire a/c heatpump unit at a cost of $5679.72. The technician, [redacted], never offered me to repair these items at all. Only offered replacement. Then when the same company came out in October 9, 2013, [redacted]., stated to me that since I had breathing problems I needed an air scrubber added to my air conditioner and heatpump. I only have light COPD, not severe COPD and again they sold me another overpriced unit that I did not need. Since arriving here from Colorado my son has discovered that an air scrubber would only have cost about $700 from a reputable company, not the $2337.67 that I was charged for this unit. I believe this company is preying on seniors that cannot get up on their roofs to inspect what they are stating and saying. At my age getting on a roof is not an option.

This company originally contacted me in December 3, 2011 saying that I had purchased a preventative maintenance agreement with them. I thought they were a company I had purchased with in February 2011, not realizing that company had went out of business and sold 4-5 companies a copy of their maintenance agreement with their customers. The company I had bought the PMA with was [redacted] in Tempe, AZ, not with Delta Air. Delta Air is representing them selves under false pretenses saying I had a PMA with them.

My son tried to talk to [redacted], one of the owners on July 10, 2014 to try to get this resolved. He explained everything to [redacted] and informed him, after speaking with 3 very reputable companies, that the items [redacted] had said could not be fixed were indeed fixable. [redacted] stated that he would return a phone call to my son in 20 minutes and never returned a phone call that day or since. My son left a message on the 11th of July.....but he still has not returned the phone call. But, [redacted] the technician did speak to my son an hour after speaking to [redacted]. All [redacted] did is say that he offered me to repair or replace the air conditioner/heatpump and argued with my son. He would not let my son speak and stated there were other issues which he did not write on the invoice. My son asked why they were not written on the invoice and [redacted] had no answer for that. The reasons he gave my son for replacing the units were external problems that were repairable and nothing wrong with the internal workings of the units. After rudely hanging up on my son, my daughter in law phoned [redacted] back to find out what the other problems were, he stated again, only the plenum and the thermostat wires which were repairable.

My sons opinion, as well as the technicians of the 3 reputable companies, was that this company only gave me the option of replacing the unit in its half life of 8 years old instead of the expected life of 15 years, instead of repairing. I firmly believe that they took advantage of me, an 86 year old war veteran like many others that do not know they are taking advantage off also.Desired Settlement: I would like a cashiers check for a full refund of the monies that I now believe these people have swindled me out of. A total of $8,017.39 is what I paid for both units, I believe that they need to be reprimanded for taking seniors who are unable to get up on their roofs and check things out.

After having an issue with my AC unit and having several companies come to look at it I am extremely satisfied with Delta. Technician looked presentable and clean. Technician talked with knowledge of what he was doing and he was very polite.

delta air came out and did a general check up on my unit which was 29.95 I was not going to be home when they arrived so I left cash 40 dollars with my son this was 6/10/14 the tech told my son he had no change and that he would deduct the change from next time he was out to service my unit How professional is this so I called two weeks later and he suggested that I go and pick the money up that they owe me at there office which is about 25 miles from my home I suggested they send a check

After agreeing on a price for an AC job the company backed out of an agreement TWICE! The company raised the price from $3600 to $5500 the day the work was supposed to start! The official answer of the company to my complaint about the issue was, and I quote, "lol".

I agree that this company has very good telemarketing workers.

The offer was 20 points check up, which actually ended up with about 5 points check up. Free freon, etc. etc. will cost over 100$, they do it only for 30$, only for the 2 weeks special...don't buy that.

The check ups are a good prevention but please don't tell costumers you will do 20 points check up that will last 1 hour, but instead do 5 points check up that lasts 20-30 min.

Review: Our warranty company Old Republic sent out [redacted] from Delta Air Conditioning on July 12, 2014 around 10AM. We had notified our warranty company that our A/C condensation lines needed to be blown out since we saw water dripping on the side of the house from the secondary drip line. [redacted] was not happy to come out on a Sat. morning and said that his cousins were the A/C workers and that they were all at the lake. He was stuck doing A/C work that day instead of doing electrical. My husband and I accompanied [redacted] up to the attic to look at the evaporators and condensation lines. [redacted] took the panels off of both of the evaporator units and showed us the coils and said they were dirty. He said he could "bandage" them for now, but that we needed new evaporators soon. He then went outside and called our warranty company to price the cleaning of the condensation lines and to order one secondary drip pan for one of the units. He also called his boss to get quotes for new evaporators, which he later tried to sell us. He knocked on our door 5 minutes later and puffed around our kitchen for 20 minutes saying that the warranty company was not going to give him enough money for the job and that we needed to pay the extra amount. I called the warranty company and they said that was their contracted prices and everything was covered under our warranty plan and that we only owed the $60 service charge. [redacted] called his boss and said that he was not able to clean the condensation lines for the price that the warranty company was going to pay him. He wanted $260 to flush the condensation lines with acid wash and $700 for a secondary drip pan install. [redacted] said that he would pour acid wash in both evaporators and one of the secondary drain pans that would hopefully over time eat through the clog in the condensation lines. After doing this and leaving us with half a bottle of the acid wash to use later if the condensation lines did not become unclogged he screwed the evaporator panels back on and while doing so did not secure one of the pvc pipes and leaned on it and also cracked it we found out later that evening. [redacted] left around 11:30AM and at 7:30PM that night we had water dripping from our kitchen ceiling. My husband and I went up to the attic and pushed back in the cracked pvc pipe, duct taped it and put a bucket underneath it. We were up until 2PM blowdrying the ceiling in the attic and taking out rolls of soaked insulation. We also discovered that the acid wash [redacted] poured in the secondary drain pan ate the paint off the side of our house. I called our warranty company and informed them of the incident and they sent [redacted] from Kilt Mechanical out the next morning. [redacted] fixed the cracked pvc pipe, flushed out the condensation lines all in under an hour and also informed us that our evaporators had been replaced in 2007 and were not in need of repair or replacement. [redacted] also told us that [redacted] had used some type of detergent not an acid wash. [redacted] put "acid" wash on our invoice and the blue liquid he left us had most of the label torn off. [redacted] said he had never seen anyone use this to clear A/C drain lines before. I tried calling Delta Air Conditioning and the dispatchers tell me they are sending my call through to the main office and I never hear anything back. I called my warranty company and they gave me Delta Air Conditioning's insurance information to file a damage claim. The insurance agent [redacted] at [redacted] said they spoke with someone at Delta Air Conditioner and was told they never performed any repairs to our home and that they have to file the claim first. I cannot file a claim without their approval. I have an invoice from Delta Air Conditioning number 7992 and a receipt, so I was baffled that they told their insurance agent they did not perform any work at my home. My next step is court to sue them for damages and my time spent dealing with these issues as a result of [redacted] being careless.Desired Settlement: I want Delta Air Conditioning to pay for the following repairs:

1. Paint kitchen ceiling from water damage

2. Replace damaged insulation in attic

3. Paint outside of house where the detergent took the paint off of the house from the secondary drip pipe

As an Arizonan I understand the importance of having an air conditioning company you can trust. I have been a customer with Delta Air for three years and am extremely satisfied with their customer service and maintenance program. A month ago, due to an electrical surge, we had to replace our furnace and purchase a surge protector. Delta Air sent out a technician that didn't try to oversell me. He was honest and told me what was necessary at that point in time. I understand that I will have to replace my entire unit in a few years, but I was not pressured to do it at that moment. Also, there was an issue with my return grill that was taken care of appropriately. Every employee that I have spoken with has been kind and understanding. Thank you Delta Air.

Delta AC did a fine job installing my 2 AC and furnace units. Professional, knowledgeable, and reasonably priced. Everything was as represented and done when promised. I have no qualms recommending them.

The GoodMan installation from the Delta Air Conditioning. The crew was quick and the install went off with no problems and started up great.

I found Delta's estimate to be competitive. All employees were friendly and responded to my questions with knowledge. They installed my unit in a timely fashion one day after the purchase.

[redacted] and [redacted] came to install our new Heating and Air Conditioner today. We were very pleased with the installation and the concern they had to make sure the job was done correctly. We bought the unit from them because we have had a maintenance contract with them since 2013 and we have been very pleased with their service.

On November 24, 2015 I had 2 Delta employees come to the unit I was renting to check the air conditioner that was not working. They were very professional, communicated well, and found the problem. Thanks for the exceptional service that I received.
