Dear Revdex.com,
">We have received the
complaint from *** ***, submitted on March 12, I am responding to this complaint on *** *** (the owner of Delta Arsenal)'s behalfIn response to
this, I would like to first explain the nature of the item that he purchased
from us ***t year and our history with ***He purchased a Class sound
suppressor, meant for a handgunThe process to get an item like this is a
lengthy one, and is not a fast or easy process by any meansYou must first
purchase it, and then submit an application to the *** through the approved
store that you purchased the item fromBackground checks and approval for a
Class item like this takes approximately to months or more, depending on
the ***During this waiting period, the item stays locked in our vault with
the others, until approvedIt can be hard to wait so long for an item, we do
understandEvery customer that purchases an item like this is well informed of
the process and the time it takes to be approved to finally receive the item
This being said, *** *** called us two weeks after his paperwork was
submitted to the ***, wondering if he could pick it up yetHe has called one
or two times every month since this time, asking the same questions about it
each time (questions such as, "When do you think I will get this paperwork
back?" or "Why are they taking so long?")Each time he calls I
have had no problem speaking to him and trying to alleviate any concern, also I
explain the situation to him patiently each timeEvery conversation we've had
has been pleasant on each party's endHe also told me that he had been calling
the *** excessively too, asking them as to when they would approve his stamp
When *** *** came
in to our store last week, unfortunately the employee that handles all Class
items was not inThe owner, not familiar with the organizational system of the
many Class items awaiting approval, took a couple extra minutes to find the
suppressor***' suppressor is good and fine in the shopUnfortunately,
the item came from our distributor without an additional accessory, a piston
that allows the suppressor to be threaded onto a barrelThe pistons are
interchangeable and not a solid part of the suppressorHowever, each can
should come with one in the box to start withAfter I heard that ***
*** needed a piston, I ordered one immediately*** *** actually
emailed the shop's email address with a similar message that he sent to you
that dayI responded to him, apologetic in regards to the problem, but that I
would order him one and that I would take care of itInstead of responding to
me, he chose to forward the same message to the Revdex.com, which is fine, it's just
hard to understand why.
With the Connecticut
laws getting more strict all the time, we try to make sure every customer's
transaction is completed with in a timely mannerWe pride ourselves on our
customer support, and strive to get every customer what they wantWe are all
for going above and beyond in all situations.
Thank you for taking the
time to review our response, and I hope I shed some light on the situationI
find refunding half of the price for such an item unreasonable on our part,
especially when I have spent lots of time talking to this customer, and also
having already provided the piston for the customer
Sincerely,
*** ***

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: When on Sunday March 09th 2014 while viewing the sound suppressor,  the piston was removed without my knowledge. When I was with [redacted] that Sunday, she remarked "There looks to be a big hole".  The item did come from the distributor  with a piston that allows the suppressor to be threaded onto a barrel. Unfortunately, as stated in Delta Arsenal LLC response (Dated March 20th 2014)  they are incorrect due to the attached photo which was taken with my cell phone camera in May 2013 by [redacted] attesting the piston was intact. I would still like to know, who removed the piston and when/why? Did someone else who needed a piston when their sound suppressor was ready for delivery have an issue? Why was as stated in Delta Arsenal LLc response [redacted] needed a piston, I ordered one immediately, there was a piston installed in the sound suppressor  when purchased.  Still requesting half of the purchase price of $850.00  due to such removal of the piston without my knowledge. Spending lots of time talking to the customer is part of Delta Arsenal LLC job. Without the customer, there would be no Delta Arsenal LLC. As stated on Delta Arsenal LLC  web page "We want to hear from you!" Feel free to contact us for all your firearm needs.  So I am doing just that.
Sincerely,
[redacted]
