We always do our due diligence to make sure that the vehicle is inspected thoroughly and any problems that are found be fixed properly. Sometimes there are things that we miss. take the vehicle to get it inspected by their mechanic as well. This vehicle is a 2006, making it 11 years old at the time [redacted] and [redacted] purchased it. Although we would like to find every single issue with every vehicle we sell, it’s just not possible. [redacted] appeared to be mechanically inclined and actually did find that the front rotors were warped. The car stopped fine, but at highway speeds it would pulsate when the brakes were applied. We gave [redacted] brand new rotors to go with the vehicle, this is something he said he would install himself. At the time of the sale [redacted] ([redacted]'s grandma and the primary buyer) signed documentation declining the vehicle service contract that we offer with the sale of every one of our vehicles. [redacted] also signed the "Agreement and Acknowledgement of goodwill service" This document is used as proof for the customer of any repairs that are promised on the vehicle pre-sale by the dealer. As you can see on the document, nothing was found by the customer nor promised by the dealer. We attempted to work with [redacted] after the sale by contacting him by phone offering to purchase the vehicle back from him. He appeared to be extremely upset and proceeded to yell derogatory comments at the owner of the business through the phone. Then proceeded to make racist comments to the owner through text message. (Pedro's nationality is Puerto Rican) It was at this point we decided that we will not offer any post sale customer service to [redacted] nor [redacted]. I feel that it is EXTREMELY inappropriate for [redacted] to accuse me of knowing that the tires had chords sticking out of them. This is purely an accusation and as far as I’m concerned, defamation of character. Something that is illegal in the state of Alaska and [redacted] can be prosecuted for in court. If this complaint goes public, and name is used in it, I will contact my lawyer and take action. Please see attached documents and note that [redacted] signed each one.
