Hello, Delta Mechanical installed the equipment that was specified by the builderThe Service Techs were there on at least different calls to inspect the systemThe system is working properly. My Techs were also there with an engineer from the town and showed him the readings.According to different service Techs the system is running properlyThank You!

I was delighted with the work that was performed on my HVAC system today Problem was quickly diagnosed, repairman was clean in appearance, polite and quickly did his work Any repair under $I consider a bargain and I felt the price of $for service and part was reasonable (it was a mechanical damper)

I was delighted with the work that was performed on my HVAC system today. Problem was quickly diagnosed, repairman was clean in appearance, polite and quickly did his work. Any repair under $500 I consider a bargain and I felt the price of $380 for service and part was reasonable (it was a mechanical damper).

Review: DMS installed a premium high efficiency heater([redacted]) in November of 2013. At the time nobody was living in the house, it was under extensive repairs due to Hurricane Irene. No other appliance had been installed yet, and the electric bill was 150.00 dollar. The next month(Dec.) with nobody living in the house and the heat turned on to 55 degrees the electric bill was 350.00 dollars. I kept telling them that something was gravely wrong and I kept calling and complaining that the electric bill was high for nobody living in the house and no appliances running, they would come out and fiddle with the thermostat and other things and say nothing was wrong. I moved in Dec. 28, 2013 to find that this heater produce no heat and that my January bill was now 650.00 dollars and no heat! I called and called they came out and could not fix the problem. Feb.10 2014 [redacted] and [redacted] came out and said it was a bad thermostat, ordered a new one. Mean while all this time the heater is running all the time on high axillary! I asked for a different tech to come out, to replace the new thermostat two weeks later. On Feb. 25 2014 The new tech realized it was the wrong thermostat entirely and that it could not communicate with the high efficient machines. My next electric bill was 550.00, I started turning everything off and pulling plugs. I was in a panic, high bills and a freezing house, and you couldn't even turn up the heat there just was no heat. Feb. 27, 2014 the new thermostat came in finally the night mare was over, so I thought. Nope, No heat even after the new thermostat was installed. I called and called it was just freezing all through March. I called the manufacture [redacted] I called the builder who hired them and I called the heating company DMS to help solve this problem and now I'm getting the run around.I need a heater that works and I think they should help pay half of the electric bill for the $650 & $550.00. The builder paid the $150 $ $350. I had 2 other independent companies look, said bad.Desired Settlement: Replace faulty heater, since nobody can fix it, and DMS or their supply house who gave them the wrong thermostat pay half of my electric bills.

I am rejecting this response because:The answer Delta Mechanical gave solves nothing. Lets go over this again, DMS installed a [redacted] heat pump in the middle of Nov.2013. There were no appliances in the house, not one, and the heat was set at 55 degrees. The first electric bill came in at $150.00, nobody living in the house. I called and said something is really wrong here, the bill is too high for an empty house, nobody did anything. The next month, same thing, no appliances, empty house, nobody living there and the bill was $350.00. I called and said to you guys, there is something terribly wrong here and the only thing in the house is the heater still nobody did anything. I moved in December 28, 2013 most all appliances are hooked up at the same time the house was cold and I mean frigid no matter what I turned the thermostat to there was just cold air coming out DMS came out a few times told me everything was right, then I got a $650 dollar electric bill for January, what a shock. All there attempts to fix and repair failed it was finally found out that the thermostat was bad after 2 weeks of waiting for a new one. The new tech figured out that it was the wrong thermostat entirely and that it could not communicate with the machine so it was running on high auxiliary all of the time hence extremely large bills. The new thermostat was installed the 27th of February but nothing changed the heater just ran and ran with nothing but cool air coming out of the duct work with the fear of another large bill I pulled the plugs out on just about everything the next bill was $525 I could not believe it. Delta installed the wrong part and was very cavalier about my problem. They should pay half of my electric bill the builder paid $150 and $350 he said the bigger bills were unacceptable (no kidding) the manufacturer suggested I get an independent heating expert which I did. They came up with more problems the tech ran it, and it went into premature defrost. The tech said this is a problem unit and will always be a problem. He mentioned something about the heat pack and various other things all I know is that I need heat. I don't want to struggle and fight trying to get something fixed that won't operate efficiently and is prone to failure DMS fixed the heater that is apparent, it needs to be replaced. I feel that Im out of options. This heater is only a couple of months old. What is going to happen in a couple of years? On paperwork! diagnosis is one thing, reality is, it just doesn't!
