Delta One Relocation & Remodeling

These movers took an entire truck of donations to a Veterans charity. I think they kept my donations, and refuse to provide me with a receipt .
On Monday, November 25, 2019, Delta One Relocation, came to my home to pick up a truck full of items to donate to a Veterans Charity. They moved us previously that month, and offered to come back and pick up items that were left , after our Estate Sale. They took Furniture, household items, clothing, jewelry, etc... I paid them 420.00, even though this service was supposed to be free. They said that they would provide me with a receipt , for the donations, for tax purposes. There was at least 5,000.00 in items that they took. They will not return my calls, and refuse to provide a receipt for the items. I believe that the items were never donated, and they kept everything themselves. It is my understanding that they have several storage units where they hold these so called donations. If they did donate them as promised, why won't they provide me with a receipt? Furthermore, they damaged several pieces of furniture, and I have missing items. The resolve I would like, is to get my donation receipt, or have my items returned, so that I may donate them myself. These people have acted in a very shady manor. When they did my move earlier in November, one of the company owners , ***, was snooping around my house, Looking in closets and rooms, at the items we were going to sell in our Estate Sale. He traded my move for several of my things. The first day of my move, they were 3 hours late, due to problems with their truck. Consequently, it took an additional day for them to move me. This move should have only taken 1 day. The 2nd day, they were 5 hours late, because their truck broke down. At this point , I had a very uneasy feeling about using this company. The 2 owners, Trey, and ***, claim to be Veterans. I highly doubt that! They do not act like any Veterans I have ever met. They are very disrespectful, unethical, and have lied to me continually. Sadly, I'm sure I'm not the only person that has had problems with them. I read a review today, and it sounded exactly like what I have gone through. Please help me put a stop to these shysters!

Do not do business with these people. They operate under the premise that they are veterans, which I do not believe. If they are veterans they are a disgrace to the military. They are dishonest, have a criminal history and have no idea what customer service is. Trey is a total *** and Chris (James) *** will not return calls. For that matter neither will Trey. I have nothing good to say about these people. Read the reviews on Yelp for Bravo Moving, which is another moving company that Chris *** owns.

My family moved into a brand new house on 10/11/19. I hired the Delta One moving company to move my all items from my old home into the new home. When the moving crew unloaded the first truck they scratched a corner in a hall way. This was brought to our attention by the construction supervisor after just completing the third quality control walk through who informed my wife. Trey *** is who I spoke to about this incident. He was not open to here communication of the details listed below. His response was 'my crew chief was with him for 10 years and he said the scratch was there when they got there.? If needed I can provide three third party names from the walk through that can verify that the damage was not there from the all three quality control walk troughs.

1. A third party person saw the incident
2. The house has had multiple walk through to verify that these no damages and everything was working
3. There was nothing in the new home to cause that damage
