Review: The [redacted] Brooklyn hotel put a fraudulent charge through on my credit card for $109, and even after notifying their manager "Kent" on January [redacted], they have failed to resolve the issue.

Facts: On January **, 2016 I contacted [redacted]'s telephone reservation system at ###-###-#### to make a reservation at the [redacted] Long Island City Manhattan View hotel. Shortly after making the reservation, I arrived at that hotel and spent the night. That hotel in Long Island City put through a correct charge on my credit card for a 1-night stay.

However, I later discovered that a second credit card charge was made for $109 by a different [redacted] hotel located in Brooklyn called [redacted] Brooklyn. I contacted the (800) number where I made the reservation and they told me I needed to work with the hotel directly. I contacted them and they asked me to fax them the folio of my stay at the Long Island City location. I contacted "Marko" at the Long Island City hotel and he faxed the folio to Kent. Marko then called me back to confirm that he had sent the fax.

I never heard back from Kent. [redacted] says the hotel is an affiliate and they are unable to directly refund the fraudulent charge. I have contacted my credit card company to reverse the charge, but the public needs to know that this hotel has very bad business practices and may place fraudulent credit card charges as part of their routine.Desired Settlement: The hotel needs to refund the charges and apologize for their behavior.
