Delta Striping And Sealcoating

Review: Delta Striping came on 8/29/13 to reseal our driveway. In the midst of resealing our driveway, they provided an inferior service through the following:

1. They filled in the sides of our driveway with extra tar resulting in blocking our sprinkler system water to drain off the sides and the grass on each side being coated with the tar

2. They sprayed the black tar all over the stones in our landscape beds instead of covering the stones with plastic prior to spraying

3. There are uneven coating spots on the driveway itself

4. They sprayed black tar on our white garage doors leaving black spots on the bottom of the door

5. Their truck left a tire tread mark on the concrete portion of our driveway entry point

6. When my husband went to pay with credit card, the worker told him they do not accept credit cards, yet their website says they accept Visa, MasterCard, Amex, and Discover. We paid by check which they promptly cashed despite not completing a satisfactory, thorough job.

My husband and I have called and texted [redacted], the owner about 6-7 times asking him to fix the issues. He said he would come on 8/31 and never showed up. We followed up on 8/31, 9/3, 9/4, 9/5, and 9/7 Kevin, he has ignored every phone call. My husband texted him the pictures of the damage and he said he would come to fix it yet never showed up. I called him again on 9/5, left a VM, he never returned my phone call.Desired Settlement: Our desired outcome is for Delta Striping to repair the damages they caused or refund us a portion of the $160 we paid so we can have the repairs completed ourselves. It is completely unacceptable that 1.) [redacted]'s worker lied to us by saying they do not accept credit cards despite their website indicating they do, and 2.) [redacted], the owner has not fulfilled his business commitment of completing a satisfactory job despite getting paid the full amount. Moreover, his lack of professionalism of not returning any phone calls/text or showing up when he says he'll come is completely unacceptable.

Review: They did not finish striping the lot. They were paid in advance and failed to complete the lot. they won't answer numerous phone calls nor return calls when messages are left.

They spilled paint on the lot and then they covered that up with spray paint.Desired Settlement: We would like them to come back and finish the job and make repairs to mistakes.

Review: Delta gave me a quote for driveway repairs and sealcoat. I reviewed quote & called & scheduled. While on the phone scheduling w/[redacted] he stated that there would need to be 2 solid days of no rain before he could do work 2 insure that the driveway was dry, we tentatively scheduled for July 11th. The morning of the 11th it rained so I assumed [redacted] would call and reschedule, however he showed up at my door. When I questioned him about the rain he stated that my driveway was as dry as it was going to get. I asked him about a warranty and he stated that all his work is guaranteed for 2 yrs. A few hrs. after work was completed it rained and much of the crack filling and sealcoat washed away. I called and left [redacted] a message and he emailed me back 2 days later stating that he would redo job on 7/15. On the 15th his foreman showed & resprayed driveway. However I pointed out to him that the cracks that were filled were now unfilled because it washed away, he agreed but stated that he was only sent 2 respray driveway & didn't have any filling material. At that moment I called [redacted] but he did not answer & I could not leave a voicemail his mailbox was full so I sent him an emailed of my concerns. His foreman eventually found some material in his truck and preceded to repair some areas although he already resprayed driveway. The end result was not to my satisfaction. The repair was unfinished, with some large cracks still unfilled. I try calling the next day since I received no response from him but got no answer. I emailed him & restated my concerns and that I was unsatisfied with the job. I also attached pics of unfilled cracks, bootprints in sealcoat, and areas with patchy repair. [redacted] emailed me on 7/16 apologizing and stating that he would call me that day, I received no call. On 7/17 he emailed me saying he would redo job on 7/18, he was no show. I tried calling got no answer & mailbox full. My husband called and left message and we still have not heard from [redacted] via phone or email.Desired Settlement: I want my driveway redone the way it was promised and written on the contract. I want cracks filled with liquid asphalt, patching redone, and driveway resprayed. I do not want him to contact me via email but rather via phone.
