That is incorrect information, all of our carriers are licensed, bonded, insured AND authorized by the Department of Transportation to conduct business and moves in all states of the USOur carriers are not local movers that fall under jurisdiction of one particular stateThe customer's claim is falseIn regards to the actual move and contract, the customer signs a new contract with the carrier upon the piof their items and falls under the contract terms with the carrierAs brokers, we have rendered our services in assigning a carrier for the move and have completed our job, which was clearly stated within the terms of our signed estimate with the customerIf the customer would like to file a claim with the carrier's insurance company, they can contact the carrier directly or contact our office again for guidance in filing a claim

I am rejecting this response because: the business provided false information. Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:The new estimate was given not prior to loading but after the loading, which contradicts the agreement. The carrier refused to unload the truck unless we pay for that. The cubic footage was spread through out the truck to increase the cost of move . The office staff is not picking up the phones, I am calling multiple times per day with no answer . Also I still did not get a delivery. The load has not left the destination yet and it's been over 8 days now . Delta pro does not want to take responsibility for anything . As long as they charged my deposit they wash their hands off. Nobody contacted me from DeltaPro even though I left multiple messages.

As per our carrier, the customer's husband was informed of the additional cubic feet prior to loading and he agreed to the new estimate and to continue with the move. This customer has since been delivered on 7/15/17 and the carrier as provided us with all of the proper paperwork and delivery signatures. We can assist the customer in filing a claim for compensation of any damages or lost items if needed and we advise the customer to reach out to us if we can be of further assistance.

Deltapro Movers is sorry that Ms. [redacted] is not content with all of the services provided to her. We apologize on our behalf for any inconveniences. increase in cubic feet that the load would take and he advised the carrier to continue with the move and agreed to the additional price. All of this was done according to regulation as is stated on our contract, to which the customer agreed to. Please see the clause in the contract below:"The total cost of this move shall not increase given that a detailed inventory/volume is provided. All orders are reviewed and altered accordingly prior to load date, and all customer are contacted as a Quality Assurance process to avoid errors. Any additional charges are solely based on additional services; i.e. additional inventory/volume, packing services, storage, re-delivery, etc. In accordance with United States Department of Transportation regulations, all price alterations made on load date must be provided to customers prior to loading in the form of a revised written estimate."If the customer did not agree to the revised estimate, the carrier would not continue with the move. In this case, the load would have taken a significant amount more than was originally estimated, about 600-700 more cubic feet as per the carrier, so the additional increase was necessary in order to perform the move. Our office was closed for the holiday weekend, but we did address the customer's concerns and reviewed the file with the carrier. We are still here to assist the customer further if there are any other issues and we welcome her to call our office during office hours for any further assistance.

Revdex.com:I have decided NOT to participate in Binding Arbitration to resolve my complaint with ID [redacted]. I understand that because I have decided to not pursue arbitration that Revdex.com must close my complaint. I have decided to pursue legally or via other avenues. Attached is the customer's signed contract where they agreed to the terms and conditions of the estimate and move. By allowing the carrier to pick-up their items they are now in a binding contract with them. The customer has filed a claim for compensation from the carrier already, and the insurance company will provide them with the proper compensation for any damages or losses.Regards,DeltaPro Movers
