Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:The information provided from the business is not an accurate depiction of the events that occurred in regards my original complaint. Upon leaving the repair facility the first time I was advised by Ricky D*** to add 3-gallons of kerosene along with some Rescue to the fuel to prevent future gelling. That evening I purchased kerosene (for which I have the dated receipt) and added Rescue 911(which I had in my work shop). At NO point was there ever a conversation in which I refused to allow the shop to add the additives, as noted in the business' response stating that "he had additive that he would put in immediately because he didn't want to pay us for something he could do." The business also responded that when I "called" a few days later, I was asked if I put the additive in and I said "no". This is 100% false. First of all, I did not "call". I physically stopped in to the business and spoke directly to Ricky D***. I told him that the truck would not start and that I added the recommended additives. He said that he should be able to get it(tow it back to the shop) within the next day or two. After a few days passed, I physically went back to the shop and spoke directly to Ricky D*** again. He did say that he was down a diesel mechanic and with the contract towing work they had going on, he probably wouldn't be able to pick my truck up until the next week. I expressed my concern because of the impending snowstorm and that my truck needed to be towed out of the snow ban zone area in front of my house. He said he would try to get it as soon as he could(It was even written on the board in the office to pick up my truck) I left there with the understanding that my work truck would be towed back to Deluca's shop to be repaired, even if it wasn't until the following week, if that was the soonest they could get to it. My truck was NEVER picked up. I waited almost two weeks until I had no other choice but to call another towing company to have my truck moved. I do not understand how a towing company can advertise that they offer hour towing service, yet could not tow a truck that they had previously worked on, back to their shop for repair. At NO point in time did I ever indicate that I did NOT want my truck towed back to their shop, as the business indicated in their response. Deluca's NEVER called or came to tow my truck back to their shop for repair. The business concludes in their response that had I followed the recommendations by the shop mechanic, I would have not gone through the issues I did upon leaving my facility after repairs were made. This is also 100% incorrect as I added the recommended additives and my truck did not start the following day. I stand by my initial requested refund amount.
Regards,
