I am responding to complaint # [redacted] against D & B Blacktop Paving in Comar, PA, D & B Blacktop Paving sealed the cracks in my driveway on January 20, I am hoping this will take care of the problem, however they previously told me it had to be at least degrees or the seal wouldn't holdIt was degrees that day so I will need to wait and see if the seal holds.Thank you for your help in dealing with this problem[redacted]

Sorry for the delay and responding too the letter we were out of town for Thanksgiving and just retured from a out of state funeralMrBoswell stop and seen Mrs [redacted] driveway and He will be fixing drive wheather permitting by the end of the week Thank you

I am rejecting this response because: I think the amount of time that has passed has Mr B*** confused on what happened. In short He called me and quoted me a priceI agreed and authorized the workThey began and made my drive way unusableHalf way through he told me it would be moreNever said how much moreTo my Knowledge never measured the driveway until he was finished and discovered his mistake. Then to cover it up, he over quoted me a price of almost times the original amount to make it look like he was cutting me a breakand then took a less amount. If he would have quoted me the correct amount in the beginning I would have never agreed to the job.I had a estmonths prior to Mr B*** and his company and felt he was giving me a discount because he was already there working next door and would have extraInstead he took advantage of a hard working family
The paving company and there sales people are the professionals they should have measured my driveway and quoted a accurate estimateI think the only acceptable resolution would be a refund of

I am hoping this will take care of the problem, however they previously told me it had to be at least 40 degrees or the seal wouldn't hold. It was 35 degrees that day so I will need to wait and see if the seal holds.Thank you for your help in dealing with this problem.[redacted]

Informed [redacted] over the phone was approx #150 sq. yards for $3000.00 three thousand dollars.  [redacted] came home before I started laying any finish material. [redacted] asked me to finish his driveway and told him it would be around an additional 100 square yards to finish his driveway.  [redacted] said let me know how much the price was when finished.  When finished I measured the driveway with [redacted] and the driveway came out to be 275 square yards total and price of $5,600.00 Five thousand six hundred dollars and I reduced the price to $5000 Five thousand dollars because, [redacted] did not want to pay $5,600.00So price of driveway was reduced because [redacted] didn't want to pay. Thank you,Mr. David B.(Son)
