There are no hidden charges, the charge that the customer paid was for a one item miscount at drop off.  We did repress the clothes and as far as some white spots on the dress unfortunately not all the stains can be removed.Thanks Management [redacted] 2/7/17

The owner told me she charges $5-$7 for each. She charged me $12.50 each, $118 total. I dropped 8 garments off at Deluxe Dry Cleaning in Chapel Hill on Tuesday, June 10. The owner examined the garments and told me she would charge between $5 and $7. Some of the garments have silk lining, but she did not tell me she charges $12.50 for any garment with silk. Since her prices are not displayed, I did not think to ask for any unique price increases. I picked my garments up on Wednesday, June 18 and my total was $118. She told me she charged $12.50 for many of the garments because they had silk. I told her this was a change from her original price quote but she refused to refund any money. I called the Deluxe Village manager ([redacted]) [redacted] but she insisted I was wrong and hung up on me. Failure to display dry cleaning prices, failure to explain the extra charges for any garment with silk, and increasing the price after quoting me $5-$7 per garment is dishonest and bad business practices. I am a college student and cannot afford $118. I would have taken my business elsewhere had she been honest in her pricing. There are many other complaints on [redacted] and [redacted] reviews. I am clearly not the only one who has had trouble with this business owner. Desired SettlementI am willing to pay the $7 per garment she quoted me originally. This would bring my total to approximately $82 (8 garments x $7 + $25 garment alteration). We will refund the difference in the amount you were quoted and charged, for $36 which will be available to you to pick up at the cleaners.
