Review: In February 2014 my wife along with my 3 kids purchased our first home before doing so we hired mr [redacted] to make sure the house was safe and that we wouldn't have problems down the line well I believe mr [redacted] failed to do his job correcty why? Where do I start not even a month after moving in we had a roof leak around the chimney flashing which was stated by mr [redacted] to be in good shape who then tried to blame the chimney guy he also seen water damages in that area but stated they may be old

A few weeks after that I found mold in my bathroom along with a leaking pipe

After that I found mold in my duct followed by rotted wood all along the exterior foundation wall on the subfloor which can be seen in the Basement

Also the exposed wires in the basement and rusted service box didn't seem to be much of a concern for him

Let's not forget the drafty windows with gaps in them that he said were good Anderson windows I'm sure there is more I'm forgetting I just want to warn other people about his services sorry for any mis punctuation as I'm typing this on a phone

Review: I paid DelValley Home Inspections to completed an inspection on a property that I was purchasing. [redacted], the inspector, completed missed a serious issue with the house in his inspection report that cost over $4,000 to fix. I requested that Mr. [redacted] provide me with his insurance information so that I could file a claim against his liability insurance. I would have never purchased this home had I known this issue existed. Mr. [redacted] refuses to provide me with his insurance information and refuses to return my messages.Desired Settlement: I would like Mr. [redacted] to not only refund the money I paid him for his faulty inspection, but I would also like him to provide me with his insurance information so that I could file a claim against his liability insurance
