Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2017/07/26) */ July 26, [redacted] Revdex.com of Northern Indiana Parnell Ave Fort Wayne, IN XXXXX IN RE: Revdex.com Case #: XXXXXXXX Dear Ms [redacted] In response to your communication of July 17, 2017, I will provide you with the following information which, quite frankly, I would have thought would already have been supplied to you by the Complainant As a public records search would quickly establish, suit was filed against the Complainant for past-due medical bills on April 14, 2017, in the Steuben Superior Court under cause number 76DXX-XXXX-SC-XXXXXX, with a Notice of Claim hearing date scheduled for July 11, The Defendant in that case, who is also the Complainant herein, failed to appear on July 11, 2017, and as such default judgment was entered against him by the court Unbeknownst to our office, because neither the Complainant nor the court notified us, apparently the Complainant had made payment on the subject indebtedness directly into the Steuben County Clerk of Court on July 10, Thereafter, on July 14, 2017, our records indicate that we were contacted by the Complainant's wife, who was upset because judgment had been entered against him by the court after he had made payment to the Clerk of Court on July 10, Personnel at our office explained that we had no way of knowing this since neither he nor the court had notified us Upon our receipt on July 19, 2017, of the monies previously paid into the court by the Complainant, we filed, the very next day (July 20, 2017), a Release of the Judgment which has been entered I trust and assume that the chronology of events set forth above satisfies your inquiry into this matter If, however, you have any additional questions or comments, please feel free to contact my office Very truly yours, [redacted]
