Demenagement Maximum

This is the second time I hired this company, first time was Jan 2019, they charged about $500 to move me. While I was missing some items and a couple things got broken, overall it was fine. I hired them again Aug 23/2019 to move from Gatineau to Kanata. They arrived at 7AM in Gatineau, loaded the truck by noon and told me they would come back for my mattress as they didn't want to load it in the truck and squash what was in there. We arrived a bit after noon in Kanata. They unpacked and went back for the mattress. They came back HOURS later at 5:10. One of the works, ***, was gone, and a stranger had replaced him. I m missing items, I had broken items, but the main issues is even though they estimated my move to cost under $1000, they wanted $1600. I offered to etransfer, but they made me drive to my bank and insisted on cash. I have called the manager severl times, ***, he has not returned my call. I reached out to them on their website, they never replied back. I don't think it's acceptable to take 4 hours to go to Gatineau for one item and back to Kanata. I don't know what happened to *** the original mover. I don't think it's fair they charged me $1600. I would like someone from the company to contact me and a refund of part of the $1600. This move should have been done in one trip, there was plenty of room for the mattress. thank you, ann
