We contacted Demers Glass and received an estimate through email for installation of a bath/shower enclosure We liked the price and agreed to have the technician come out to do an actual measurement After the measurement, the price of the job increased and we inquired as to why We were told (and have it in email) that once the technician evaluated the job, he said it would take an hour more of labor than estimated We had no reason to mistrust at this point and agreed to and signed off on having the work done On November 9th, the work was completed However, it did not take an extra hour of labor, and not only that, it didn't even take the hours (installers x hours) We asked the installer about the discrepancy and he said that he never told Demers that it would take hours and he even showed his paperwork showing hours When we called and questioned the office, they were clearly unprepared to be caught in a lie and said the extra charge was for shop time and drive
