Review: Found Demidova catering through the Fiestah platform (which is great, btw, and I wish I had completed my transaction through them.) Most of the reviews were good, and the ones that raised issues didn't seem to apply to me.The proposed catering menu included Tuna Tartar, Pulled Pork, Beef Tenderloin, and mini Quiches.Tuna tartar is made from fresh, sushi grade tuna. They served my guests tuna salad. I would never have ordered tuna salad for a cocktail party. It is disgusting and makes your breath smell awful. This was completely unacceptable. The proposal included slow cooked pulled pork on black garlic crostini with pickled red onion. They served cold cuts of ham or bologna on some kind of chip with what seemed to be a gherkin pickle on it. Pulled pork is made of pork, and is slow cooked and shredded. I don't believe what they served was even pork. It was a processed, unidentifiable meat product. Completely unacceptable. The proposal included a cucumber cup topped with beef tenderloin. They served a cucumber with a slice of grey-ish roast beef cold cut that wasn't fit to be on a child's sandwich. Shameful. Nothing resembling a quiche was ever served.Since the event, [redacted] has gone dark, not responding to phone calls. They even left bowls and serving trays in my office instead of coming to pick them up. She has only responded via email to reschedule follow-up calls and to cancel. She has made up excuses, delaying calls for days, and finally refuses to meet or discuss any kind of resolution.Desired Settlement: maria offered me $950 worth of catering as a "make good." I asked for $500 cash refund, since I'd never have her provide food for any of my events ever again. She has declined and gone dark.
